I still dream of getting an Obutto so every now and then I check out their site.  Check out their new cockpit: http://obutto.com/home_r3volution.html
I think it's going for $699 if I remember correctly.

Nice, but just WHEN is enough, enough?  I'm not rainin' on your parade, Doc, but HOLY CHIT! There's a product out there for everyone to buy, ya know?

Lookit, I don't discourage ANYONE from buying one of these (I own an earlier model Obutto myself), but I have everything that the R3volution seat has with the exception of the framing for mounting 3 friggin' HDMI monitors.  Shit, after spending all that money for the seat and the shipping (wt=113 lbs.), ya gotta go out and buy not 1, not 2, but 3 effin' monitors?....wait, I'm not finished....let's throw in 3, yes, Virginia, that's right 3 PS3 slimlines (at the very least) and 3 GT5 game discs. hmmm, let me do the math...$600 for the chair,
                                               $900 for the monitors  :o
                                               $750 for the PS3s  :o
                                               $120 for the GT5 discs  :o
                                              $2370 for the package  :o

And the FUCK er doesn't even have rollers, which weight with the monitors at approx 30 pounds each, comes in at about 200lbs. How ya goin' to move it without rollers? (more money and a trip to Home Depot), heh, heh.  :D

NO thanks (for me), this game has cost enough already (mostly my time and sanity),

But its nice to have a pipe dream!  On that note, Loretta, pass me the bowl, honey! ^-^ :D ^-^

Fire 'em up!

However, if I had, oh, say $35 -$40 grand to spend, hell, I'd get a seat that had the g-force effects  built in.  Ah, yes, one has only to dream,    But I DO like your dreams, Doc.  ;D :D

Actually the triple monitor stand is extra just like the regular obutto.

I had to edit the post as I thought it too harsh at first, lol.  But yeah, The base seat is sweet and I just about live in it. 8)  Back in the day, when racing seats and wheels first came out, I dreamed of owning a playseat and a driving force steering wheel.  Now I have an Obutto seat and a G25 wheel.  Speaking from the perspective of evolution, it's not a far reach to want the biggest and best for your racing experience or any experience for that matter. Why, I'll be the first person to admit that I have a Champagne taste and a beer pocketbook, .
