================
Class in Session
================

Sporting Classics (Group A)!

This week we're taking out some Sporting Classics, classic sports cars with 1600cc engines or less from 1978 or before.  Not the most powerful of cars maybe, but they are definitely a lot of fun!  The majority of the field will be running at around 375PP, 140hp and 875kg, some cars may not quite make the weight or have less power but don't worry!

Allowed Cars:
Abarth 1500 Biposto Bertone B.A.T 1 '52
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA 1600 '65
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint Speciale '63
Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto '66
Honda 1300 Coupe 9 S '70
Isuzu 117C0UPE '68
Isuzu Bellett 1600 GT-R '69
Mitsubishi GALANT GTO MR '70
Mitsubishi Lancer 1600 GSR'74
Nissan SKYLINE 1500Deluxe (S50D-1) '63
Nissan BLUEBIRD 1600 Deluxe (510) '69
Triumph Spitfire 1500 '74
Toyota CELICA 1600GT (TA22) '70

There may be one or two cars I didn't list that I thought just wouldn't be good (e.g. Honda S800, VW Karmann Ghia), they are allowed but may not be competitive.

There are also a handful of others that do fit the criteria but aren't listed in Group A due to being significantly better in testing than the rest of the pack (Lotus Europa, Mazda Cosmo Sport, Alpine A110, etc), don't worry these will feature later on in a slightly different but similar class :D.

This looks like a great class of cars! I hope to be around for a couple of races tonight.

Thanks Feld!

Yep! I'm psyched; these cars are right up my alley: Low HP - RWD crap cans....it doesn't get any better. It's a shame I have to get up super early tomorrow, otherwise I could be on from open to close.

See you all at 8:00 sharp. :)

I spent 40 minutes today at lunch purchasing a number of these cars. I was in such a buying frenzy I didn't notice that the B.A.T. was 3.5 million until right after I pressed purchase.

Nice! It's a great feeling when you've got more virtual money than you know what to do with.

I've always had a 'thing' for 60's through 80's low horsepower RWD import cars. I don't know what it is, but I love them. Since I can only be on for a bit tonight, I only bought 3 last night. Good times will surely be had tonight!
