Upcoming TuTu Tracks/Cars
« on: February 09, 2014, 02:28:09 PM »

During the latter part of GT5, I didn't post track names. That's because I was more concerned with car choice and we tended to track hop a lot. So far in GT6, I've been posting tracks that we've more or less stuck to. I have a number of TuTu ideas in the bank (including specific car and track combos) and I don't want people to get antsy say, when we run Stowe that everyone goes "hey let's switch to the Silverstone GP circuit" - well I was going to run that track in 2 weeks. So in an effort to keep future TuTus from going stale before they arrive, I thought I'd give everyone a heads up as to what's in store.

I'll post the actual event prior to Tuesday as I do now and I won't tell you what car is running what track... but here's what's coming in case you want to learn a track/buy a car in advance. Also, if you think there's an awesome car out there that we all must run, feel free to comment and I'll try to keep this list as updated as I know.

Just a heads up, if you need to, start saving for the Audi R18 TDI LMP prototype car. We will be running it in May. Don't worry if you're afraid of super high pp. All will be well  ;)

Can we use the Red Bull X2014 Junior in online lobbies?

Score. I'm considering doing a "Series in a Night" TuTu with that car at some point.

The RB Jr is the car of choice for May or June in the Career in a Year series. It is super fun I think.

Okay so here's the TuTu plan for the next couple of weeks:

May 20: Finally running that IROC-Z event
May 27: GT5 Shuffle Finale. Final Finale. Like final final.
June 3: Open Lobby (Ferrari 365 from rental-lot) - will x-post on Deathstar
June 10: TBD. Possibly the very-delayed TuTu Indy 500 (using de-tuned Audi R18s).

You probably would make some new friends if you cross post this one, too.  ^-^

Honda HSV race car maybe? There's 3 team versions, a base model, and an AE version. Not sure of a track right off. Something fun(Le Sarthe), as this car can be touchy on the throttle offline, maybe worse online.  :-\

Edit: After this week's TT, I'm liking the HSV at Red Bull Ring.

I'll be in sunny Orlando next week, so I won't be posting an official TuTu for February 3, 2015.

Feel free to get together and run whatever (but don't steal my upcoming cars listed in the OP above!). Thanks and have fun!
