then we'll have to plan for it.  september would be when we'd start this format, so five levels of modifying would be ideal.

tuneless/stock  w/ oil change
exhaust, intake, and ride-height adj susp
engine stage 1, weight stage 1, full susp
RM with no additional mods, w/ tuning
RM with all mods

that would make five levels

As a big fan of MR cars in this game, I like the NSX RM.

another option is any car that has a TC version from the first DLC pack or elsewhere.

reason being... hey let's face it, the "RM" thing is just a gimmick the game uses to make it seem like you just transformed the car, but in reality it's replacing one car for another.

that makes it possible to use the MX-5 and Roadster TC as a combo, among a few others.

if there are twelve of these combos, then that makes for no planning for a full year!!!!!

use ride-height adjustable suspension as only added part.  honor system, of course.

CORRECTION: Any part not changing power or weight may be used.  Tuning unrestrecticed.  Detune to negate power gain from break-in and oil chang only.

Tguns/One_eyed_tuna has put down a best lap of 1:57.051

my best is a 1:57.7xx which I was surprised to attain.  I thought 59's or 58's would be my limit.

I'll be on a couple hours early tomorrow practicing if anyone needs some track time.

CLARIFICATION FOR 9/8
 
After reading this again, I realize I need to clarify that the room will not be set to a PP rating, but to the HP and Weight specified.
 
So moving the ballast, if it does increase your PP's (enzyte not included) is nothing to worry about.  Put it wherever you need to.
 
No adjustment of the Engine Limiter/Detuner allowed either.  Just bolt the parts, break it in, and you're good to go.
