I couldn't speak to the SRT10 Coupe but if it helps I did find the '99 and '02 GTS models worked well with a close ratio transmission and fixed sports suspension, that was at stock weight / hp though.

I saw tguns and crow doing a practice run last night. They were using the M3 and the Camaro and both were doing 1'51.xxx laps.

So far spending an hour messing with the RX8 has yielded 1'51.7xx. A short time in the Ferrari 458 is consistent 1'50.0xx's. I'm now leaning towards the Ferrari, but I will try to find time to test more cars.

tguns has posted times for other cars at PSN with one of the Audi cars @ 1'50.x as quickest. All are very close. It is a long race and will come down to consistency.

Managed 1'49's in both Audi's, though the 4.2 seemed better to me.

Interesting.  This is going on at the same time as the iracing Daytona 2.4 (actually 2h40m).  Should finish close to the same time.

Just a heads up guys. We're going to attempt a photo shoot on the first lap of the pre race. Last year it was a little sloppy. Hopefully this year we can do a little better. See you all soon.
