We had a guy living in Phoenix that dress like a baby. He was a strange one indeed.

From a few photo shoots yesterday I pulled together these two.. one's just a bit of an edit and the other is more of a flag style composite like the others, both based on Charlie's request / suggestion :).

Sweet!!!    I prefer the first because it it looks more aged and thus goes with the car well...

After looking at it some more I actually set the 2000GT one as my desktop background :D.  Would the flag one look better if it had a touch less colour, maybe more faded or browned from age?  I was wondering if the red of the background had come out a bit too vivid compared to the slightly washed out car images.

Could you redo it and capture the sun in "the sun"?

Nice job. I think the rising sun should be faded out a bit more. Actually, a lot more. It just overpowers the rest of the image. I think it would look great if you could maybe change the opacity to make it look like the actual sun. If that makes sense. It's great the way it is though.

Here's an alternative version of the 2000GT Rising Sun, less "comic book" style and I tried to blend it in a bit more with the game's Warm Filter lense flare sun thingum.  Tried a few different effects on it this time in terms of colour balance / textures so it at least looks somewhat different but still similar.

I think the Rising Sun part could probably be blended in a more realistic way as there are still some hard lines, but I think if I did that it would detract a bit from the whole "Rising Sun" concept I'm going for with this particular picture :).  Although that does make for a possible future project  :).

and thanks, I'm having a blast messing around with Photoshop right now (in case it isn't obvious  :laugh) so it's all good :D.  I'm kind of planning on doing just about every flag represented in GT5 if I can mine enough Photo Mode content and find decent flag images on the interweb, Google image search is loving me right now!

Some evnet photos, firstly from the Midnight drive-in..

Myself (red), Wizard (white) and Fried (blue) coming over the hill before the Spiral section..

Round and round we go, three wide!

Over the hill..

..and around the bend on the other side.

Now from the Saturday Drive-in..

Myself (green), Ronin (pink) and Baked (white)..

I grabbed too much curb as we turned in and there was some contact :hug..

More close racing..

..getting closer..

..so close but no contact!

A Baked-eye view of the situation..

Definitely some goos times!!
