Thanks guys :), I was so pleased with how that Fiat flag turned out that I decided to throw together another one from some stock photos I had.  This time it's Britain's Union Jack..

Looks good Feldynn. Might I make a suggestion? Try blending in the edges of the photos you use so that they don't stick out so much. You could try bluring the edges or smudging them. Other than that, they look great!

Doh, thanks Sniper!  I was trying to use a "soft edges" frame on the pictures before adding them to the flag, it should have made an oval shape in the center and feathered / faded out the edges but it looks like it messed up when I saved it.  Might be something to do with going from multiple complex layers to one simple layer, will have to fix that :).

Here's an updated version of the Union Jag, I think I've got the edges smoothed out better now.  I was using a vignette type frame on the individual images but I don't think I'd got the size right so it was catching the hard edges instead of just fading out, should be better now hopefully :).



I'll have to spend some quality time in Photo Mode tonight to get some car shots for the Swedish flag and maybe take some more for the Stars and Stripes, though I do have some decent stock photos I may use for that.  We'll just have to see :D.

I like the sound of that, I'll see what I have that I can use (have a few ideas).  Looking at some images of it I'm reminded of the Top Gear piece on the Lexus LFA that used a similar graphic in some comic book style moments.
