Loving 8-4 right now.  There's nothing quite like hitting Eau Rouge just right.

Me, hey & Enyo all doing well at the moment...

But they ruined it by putting cars on the track at the same time.  Otherwise that would have been the best trial in all of the academy.

I was hoping that Motegi would be another prize for finishing the academy.  Since they don't mention it, I guess that we will be DLC that you have to pay for.

Great run Wiz

Agreed.  Though even with the cars it's still probably one of my favorites.

Overnight we moved all the way down into the 60's.

I'm actually starting to wonder if we'll get Motegi at all, no matter if it's DLC or not.

Cones, glorious cones,
Blocking off all the shortcuts!

Make pleasing sounds when you hit them,
Bippedah, bippedah, bippeh!

I don't doubt someone will find a way to bend the rules even so, but I have to say I'm actually quite pleased with the Pylon Invasion in the last 2 rounds :).  Sadly there is still plenty of inconsistency with the car collision penalty mechanic but I can live with that since there weren't any cars in the one that really counted.

Also, Wizard.. great time on the Montegi Short course for 8-5!  I managed what I think was a reasonable 1'34.6xx, heck it put me 291nth in the US so I'm pretty happy with that.  Might try to improve on it at some point (at least to stay in the top 300 maybe), but I don't believe I'd make the top 32 to go to the National Finals so I'm not going to worry too much.

Great times guys. I'll be running tonight and tomorrow, but I will not be anywhere near a top 32. So I'll be happy just getting free cars.

Round 6-5 has been reset yet again  >:(, I think that's the La Sarthe one.  Still shows me as having a Gold trophy and obviously access to Rounds 7 and 8 but for the sake of completeness, and to ensure the acquisition of free gifts, it's probably worth putting a time up just to be safe.

Round 6-5 has been reset yet again.

How can you tell?  Does it no longer show a time for you?  Just wondering, I've never went back...

I saw a comment on the PSN forum that made me go back and check, there were only two times listed on my top 10 friends (ExXbox and Tanker I think).  Looks like the leaderboard was wiped.

That is exactly right Charlie... Times are gone.  I ran 5 & 6 almost two weeks ago and haven't look at it again till tonight.  Knew they had reset it once early on, before I ran it, didn't know of the latest one.   According to my last replay I ran a 1:06.477 ... I was satisfied with that, oh well, I'll run it again before I run 7 & 8, just to make sure it doesn't screw up getting the car.   I run all ten events in one sitting and spend maybe 1/2 hour or so per event, a few a bit longer, so it takes a handful of hours to get through them, pretty much done with it after that.   :)

Anybody else notice the lighting at Motegi is similar to GT5 tracks that have weather? I'd like to go on record to say, if we get this track added to GT5, it'll have weather.

Also, it was fun to run that track again, been a long time since GT4.

Also, also, Skylines suck in stock form. I don't see how this could be favorable advertising for Nissan, when their flagship car handles like shit.
