At least this one won't be dragged out over two months, like it was last year.

Hmmm.. that's what I liked about last years.  The longer the better in my opinion.

Hmmm......I wonder if our Canadian Friends will be able to join in the fun n' game?

Have they gotten all of those archaic little pesky laws out of the way to "clear the road" (sic)  for their participation in the competition?

I'm excited and I do want to experience the new physics. .... I would rather be on track with all of you.
:stoopid:

I like time trials sometimes, but I want to race people on track.

Canada certainly isn't listed as a country that can participate, and everything discussed at the mothership seems to indicate they are not allowed in, AGAIN.

I feel for all of my canadian friends for not officially being able to compete... though, they may still let you run the events and not have times on the leaderboards...

but yea I am getting excited for two reasons, to try and see how high I can place (no chance of top 32, but would like to surprise myself by getting closer) and because of it being a GT6 demo.

Between Tour de France and GT6 demo/academy, I'm not sure I'll be spending my time like a responsible adult should ;)

DVR the Tour de France when it is live in the morning. Then by using FF you can see the 30 minutes of cycling shown in the 4 hours of coverage.  :)

LOL actually I like seeing most of the complete broadcasts because there is a lot of analysis and information about strategy etc. that you might miss... tidbits of info on the area being traversed, random accidents that happen for no apparent reason... all sorts of stuff.

and sadly I don't have the channel it comes on in the U.S. NBC Sports, nor a DVR so I'd be screwed.

But the last few years there has been a way to purchase a streaming service for the month for like $30 and see all stages live or replayed at your choosing.  I cannot for the life of me figure out if this service exists again this year.  Legally, that is ;)

Back on topic... yea I may have to put my two TV's side by side do Academy and TDF at the same time.

Getting excited for this years Academy!  Am I the only one?

Can't wait to try out the new physics.  I hope it's set up like last years.  I had a blast with it last year with all the little challenges.

I had a lot of fun with the last academy and it will be nice to try out the new physics.  I really hope that GT6 has leaderboards for the license tests (and other things) that was a great idea.  But I won't have much time to work on it this time.

It's probably the last week of the Academy that they need to go to the beach.

 :-* Bye, sweetie. Have fun!
