LOL actually I like seeing most of the complete broadcasts because there is a lot of analysis and information about strategy etc. that you might miss... tidbits of info on the area being traversed, random accidents that happen for no apparent reason... all sorts of stuff.

and sadly I don't have the channel it comes on in the U.S. NBC Sports, nor a DVR so I'd be screwed.

But the last few years there has been a way to purchase a streaming service for the month for like $30 and see all stages live or replayed at your choosing.  I cannot for the life of me figure out if this service exists again this year.  Legally, that is ;)

Back on topic... yea I may have to put my two TV's side by side do Academy and TDF at the same time.

No offense Ex, but I used to ride my 3 speed English made bike up 'till I was fourteen.  After that I learned to drive a car (it was much easier on my legs).  Never looked back.   While I applaud the efforts of those who like to do endurance biking, I just can't get into the pain of it all.   As with any sport, there are strategies.  I like to think that my best strategy was to put the bike away a looong time ago, .

However, I can't wait to see the GT Academy challenge this year and run at Silverstone GP track.   We will all have that chance in LESS than a WEEK!!

Also found this on the GTP Academy Demo thread:

If you look carefully you can see what appear to be leaves falling from the tree in the center at the back, assuming you aren't distracted by the Leafs going by which do actually look quite impressive :).

That's 7pm CST!!! Means I get it one hour earlier than everyone on the east coast.

Found this just now too, reminds me of that Forza Vs. GT5 AI Comparison video where GT5's AI went around the blockage and Forza's just hit it :)..

The highly advanced AI of Gran Turismo 6

also of note (to me) is the white car (AI) holds his line fairly well against the other car (user)

Looks like you can create a UK account, download the demo, then login to your main account and start playing.

Can't wait to get home now! :)

Man, that is awesome. Look at how the rear of the car is lightened under braking and how the front right corner suspension is compressed. Impressive. Did the driver not have a face yet?
