I know of 9 duplicates/ineligibles in the top 250 and I'm sure there's plenty more.

The 4 Let_Canada_In accounts
Me
GTP_carracer & carracerptp are the same person
ATW_Hero & EpicGonzago3 are the same person
fasj6418 lives in Brazil
GoFasterSpiffy is someones alt, can't remember who though.

I kept an eye on the leaderboard all day yesterday and saw you snuck into the top 250. I think you were 248th when I first saw your name.  You then fell to 250th and sat there for a few hours until about 5ish.  Once you rolled on to page 2 at 251st, I felt terrible for putting TunaWiz up on the list.  Then once you fell to 252nd, I gotta be honest and say I felt a little better.

No matter what you're top 250 in my eyes...  Congrats man!  I know you put in a lot of work and it looks like it paid off.  I went to bed around 4am and I think you were still on.   ^-^    A 19.315 is a kickass lap!  :)

Congrats to both of you and anyone else who put the time in to improve their driving.  I see that Spec took over first place on my friends list.

I got busy with life and didn't run a single full lap.  I'm sure I could have cracked the top 2,000 in the US.

I only ran it the day it came out, just for an hour or so, and haven't touched it since. I think I was ranked around 4700 in the US last I checked. No bad for someone who barely ran any laps.

I guess I'll check out the bonus TT when I get home, after work.

I haven't gotten back to this yet, so I hope the demo cars get released soon. Then we will have to see how we can put it to good use.

Nice going on the top times, guys!

Thanks bro!  It was people like yourself and Buddyfreakind in my corner telling me I'm faster than I knew I was, that made it seem possible.

so I hope the demo cars get released soon.

Do you know something we don't know?  I've seen no mention anywhere that we're getting anything more than what we already have.

In other words, I think the bonus event that opened up yesterday is all we're going to get.

It depends on how you interpret some of the messaging we've received already...

I think some of us are just hoping that this "demo" will become more of a real demo of the GT game itself, not just an Advertisement for Nissan, now that Academy is over.

Congrats to all those with them fasty fast times ... great job.  :)

In 2012, I placed somewhere in the 2000rd area with alot of work.  This year, I spent less than half the time and finished #488.  I accompished waaay past my goal of 1500st.... and I rewarded myself with a  Jameson on the rocks in a tall glass when I got home from work today.

I just needed to toot my own horn for a sec ....   ^-^ ^-^ ^-^

Ran the bonus TT, and the car is not as bad as I was expecting, after reading all the bitching on GTP. Managed to actually gold this one, although it took me 15 laps to do so.  :-[

Also, DLed Wizard's ghost for gits and shiggles. It got away from me pretty quick.  :laugh

Great Job, Agent!  Well deserved drink.  I may have had a glass of wine, or two or three :D

I was glad to find Wizard's ghost still up there too!  Rated-M3 also had one last time I checked.  This demo seems to keep them available even when the individual has been pushed out of the top 10, which is actually really awesome!

I was 66rd in this new time trial when I stopped last night, and still a solid 2 sec off of Wizard, though I was .001 behind at the first check.  I don't think that means I'm fast, I think it means Wizard has another 1.5 seconds to find out there still!

I really hope that GT6 full version has the ability to grab just about anyone's ghost.  Not just the long import/export way either.

great work you guys up fron there. This new bonus run was fun, I actually enjoyed the car, though it took a few laps to see where you can push it. I'll be going back for more.

The guy in 51st just got an invite.  That means there were 20 ineligibles.

If the trend continues in regards to previous finalists not being eligible to go, I figure I'll make it in 2017 or so.

regarding the ineligibles, that's even more than I thought!  That means we can knock up our rank by 20 in our stat sheets of life :)   ::)

and I think you could be there before 2017 easily, especially because the faster racers, once chosen for the top spots, can't be chosen again.  The veterans who stick with GT will have an advantage over those who are new coming into the series, at least most of them.

if you weren't in the top 50-75 next year I'd be surprised, and possibly even higher like top 32.

maybe next year I'll shoot for top 150 or better...

On the Top 12 -- wow, they actually look like they could all run around the block successfully without injuring themselves severely!  A first for GT Academy US!!

And D'Hani Jones has my respect too, because of the TV show he did traveling around the world doing indigenous sports...

I'll never forget the episode in Switzerland or Austria with the Shvinging!  Classic.
