I couldn't drive the car over 80mph, my wheel (T500RS) started shaking like hell.
So I went and did the Vision race on R242 smooth as glass.
Cant believe the difference in the 2 cars as far as FFB is concerned.
I had to dial back the force feedback in my wheel. Even though i thought it was a bit much for the Academy car i think that is closer to what i expect from some of these heavy duty race cars on bumpy tracks.

My wheel has settings from 0-150 i usually run it at 120-130 for the academy i dialed down to 80 or 90 and it was still fightimg but, manageable.

Okay, so now I know what hell (not that there is that thing) will be for me. I can not even make it to Dunlap tire sign before redding the lap. I can't even count the times I have red lapped before the start finish line, because of cones or boundaries.

I am struggling with two main things. I can no longer FWD in GT6 and L space hates me.

This will take some time for me and all I want to achieve is gold. This will be rough, I already see it.

Good luck all.

I see this will just take more time then I am used to for these. I can see the only way to turn is on throttle. So I will attack again tomorrow with a new attitude.

I'm glad I do not have to press a deploy KERS button.

I've got a good time, in the top 10 friends, but it was a struggle.

The feedback is quite something, unusual for GT, but I have yet to reduce it.

Apparently, PDI made the LMP1 car shake our wheels because that is how the real car is.

What the fuck is this thing about? I had more fun driving my boring Civic to Lowe's this morning than I did trying to get a good lap time in this pile.

I'm starting to think Ben Bowlby is a con artist trying to see what ridiculous things he can get automakers to actually pay money to build.

I managed first on my friends list a few nights ago...may have been passed by now. There's probably room to improve a bit. I don't think I could beat 3:30 though

Other than the shakes, I don't find the car bad. (oh, and it doesn't take well to wide open in first gear. I do find first gear helps it turn a bit in a number of corners) It's a bit quirky, but just required a little adapting.

very nice time Turbo. I've finally managed to get a sniff of Baked's tailpipe time, but i think I'm close to my limit with this car.

Don't think I have been back since the second day it was available. May try some more but doubtful, driving without friends has not been amusing for the last little bit.  :-\

I at least have to get a lap in to get the car. I would ideally like to gold it so I have gold in all these, just in case there are giving things away. I meant to get to it over the weekend, but when I had time I did not have any motivation to get in that car.

I'm getting better. Last night I made it to timing sector 2 once and sector 1 twice.  ^-^

I am awaiting delivery of my CPX adapter (which will allow me to use my TR wheel with Fanatec pedals)... how much longer are these time trials open, and is this the final round yet?
