Yup, different mod.  It's just one guy working on it and he just started it 5 days ago.  And on top of that, he's never done it (converted a track) before.  Really impressive.

No other track has held my interest like Nuremburg ring has. I know it's not a fan favorite by many but it's the track that holds most of my most bestest GT memories. And the track I'm most competitive on.some sectors screem to be walked on a moonlit night in October.

Thanks, I saw this.  I've hesitated to install things that required 3rd party drivers so far.  Superbike (GTP, rfactor forum, iRacing and other forums) is a bit of a rift fanatic.  He was going to try this and I was planning to wait to see what he thought of it.

Superbike couldn't get it working so I gave it a shot.  The directions aren't really clear.  They say to change settings but I can't find those settings anywhere.  You need to use tridefs drivers which aren't free ($49) but you do get a 14 day trial.  I still managed to get it working but the field of view isn't correct yet.  The performance is really bad.  I tried a race against the ai and it was like a slideshow.  I'll give it another shot later.

There's a nice Blancpain Endurance Series mod being put together over at F1Classic by PetraGTC.  She's got most of the cars already with a good variety of skins too.  She is well known in the modding/conversion world and puts out quality conversions on a regular basis.  I used a lot of her mods in Race 07 though she recently stopped doing Race 07 mods and is now a full time rF2 modder/converter.

It's still a work in progress (v0.9) and has some issues/bugs to be worked out but it's progressing nicely.  One issue you'll see in the video is there are no hand animations yet.  From what I understand hand animation is one of the more difficult things to accomplish when modding/converting.

Once the car list is complete (no Vantage or GT-R yet) and the bugs are worked out, this will be a must have for any rF2 player.

Last night I raced and recorded a 5 lapper at Silverstone.  The audio in the vid didn't come through very good for some reason.  InGame audio is much better than what you'll hear in the video!  I think FRAPS was struggling a bit too as the video came out a little choppy. The vid is quite long but well worth the watch in my opinion.

I did a short race against the AI in the rain last night.  Looks like the rf2 ai is taking lessons from gt.  In a 5 lap race all the cars pitted at the end of lap one to put on rain tires.
