I'm in but I don't have a car just yet. I'm looking for a couple in particular.

I am good to go most weeknights after 9:00. I will be away with the family for vacation the last 2 weeks of October. Back on the 28th.

Let me try and narrow it down a little then. Its a ways off but how does either Friday November 2nd at 9PM eastern or Saturday November 3rd at 5pm Eastern sound?

Using Saturdays the race should pretty well fit in between the Matinee and Drive In. Or I think Friday nights would work well except once a month it would conflict with TGIF.  :(

I would try for early October but I want to give anybody who wants to race time to get a car. At 5mil a piece and/or a level 23 ticket, they are not the easiest cars to get.  I guess the good news is, once you get the one you want and time is running out, they all run pretty well without a tune.  :copz:

I will vote for Friday :) , but I'm good with either day.

Now I need to get a car and get on track.  :)  For DSS what kind of lap time should we be shooting for?

Also, the racing tires are hard only or any?

Any racing tires.  As far as lap times, I'll have to check my notes at home tonight. But rough guess 34 seconds a lap or close to it on racing hards.

Update: Bad guess, it's actually in the 42 to 41 second range depending on tune.

Saturdays are out for me and Fridays are tough as well, with 2 boys and 1 tv it's hard to get tv time. School nights are better. As far as I can tell Mondays and Wednesdays are free.

I'll be watching this thread, and cars are no problem.  I also have no problem sending level23 tickets .... its nice to have multiples in your items. 2 or 3 flips for the price of 1.

Now is the time to start requesting ......  :jimi:

I need to make a correction from earlier.  Lap times at Daytona should be 42 to 41 second range depending on tune.  Maybe a high 40 second lap.  Any thing below 40 and I messed up some where and may need to adjust.  In testing I saw all cars producing times within .3 seconds a lap of each other. But I admit these cars were a pain to balance. The rules back when these cars were built were very open and despite their looks they are very different from each other.

EDIT: Based on the latest GT5 news. After Sep 25 I may need to adjust the tire rules, based on PDs update. I should have that settled by the following weekend.
