dlrws6, how will the updates affect this race?  Especially since you can vary the tire wear...this could have a large impact.

My guess is normal is what we have most recently been on, fast or very fast is what we were on prior.

Always nice to wake up to a tire and physics change the day before a long highspeed race. 

I don't know yet, but I suspect Dude is correct.  The good news is from my early testing I don't believe the physics change will affect any thing except maybe lower the lap times at Motegi. I'll try and test tonight but right now my plan is to leave Daytona set to "Normal" with the possibility of a change for the last 3 races.

I'm stuck at work all day but if any one is home and feels like testing today, I basically just need to know what type of life racing softs provide with all 3 or 4 wear settings. Based on my testing notes I think I can crunch the numbers from there on.

I would think that you are absolutely welcome to join us tonight. I know it was mentioned that it was not compulsory to attend all of the races.

The more the merrier. I'm sure anyone is welcome right up to race time as long as the race specs are met.

I don't want to speak out of turn.

Dlr can clarify and I'm thinking this will take place in his lounge so make sure you are friends.

Yes, absolutely, most definitely,  Grilled you and any one else who wants to join in is welcome to.  Running the entire series is not required.  I'm 99% certain you are in my friends list but I'll check when I get home.


FYI, the race will be held in dlrws6 lounge.  I'll set the room up for the race about an hour early for practice, although feel free to stop by earlier.

Also, there will be Heavy Damage, Normal tire wear and 2X rolling start.

Good race last night. Those cars are a handful being held wide open, cruising around well over 200mph the whole time. Intense. Thanks everyone. Too bad I rubbed the wall on the last lap. I couldn't recover quick enough. I closed the gap to 3 tenths,  but no real chance at moving up from fifth.
