What a fantastic idea.  Would love to close myself up like that.

Can't wait to see it progress.  Like, how you are going to do the door.

Won't it get warm inside?  Got ventilation plans?

Gullwing door hinged in the middle of the roof so no head bumpin' (or at least, not as much head bumping as a normal door).

Vent plans are either: 1. leave a small opening on the side where the house's HVAC vent is because it's going to be up against it regardless and/or 2. buy a small clip on fan to put somewhere in the front luggage hold (which isn't done yet) and let it blow air either 1. around inside or 2. out what may become a "grille" opening in the front.

The new wife has been patient thus far (she gets to paint the family room as a trade off)... but we'll see how long that lasts as I get into the details...

The PS4 most likely won't do triple screens on a single PS4 either.  The problem with consoles is that you have a set performance limit and developers are going to try to maximize performance on a single display leaving little room for 3 displays.  Also, the PS4 only has one hdmi output which makes it hard (not impossible) to attach multiple monitors.

VR with racing sims has the potential to be incredible.  It is already pretty cool with the DK2.  I'd probably buy a PS4 just for morpheus.

The original specs for the PS3 included three HDMI outputs. PDI had trouble enough using one.

I have seen only a couple of enclosures, and this has to be the largest. I will watch your progress with the design.

My new stand is working, but it still needs more time and attention. I also want to see if I can make a different, smaller one for my wife.

For you Fanatec guys, Is this a good deal? I understand he doesn't have a buy it now and depending on how high idiots try to run it up what would a good deal be on this used set?

Wow! they run it up higher than I even thought they would.

Awesome I love mine. Though I do need to update the firmware again (right now I have to boot up the wheel twice for them to work right on ps3). They are also currently beta testing a brake performance kit. https://www.fanatec.com/forum/discussion/183/csp-v3-owners-betatesters-wanted-for-brake-performance-kit

those v3 clubsports are sexy as fuck!

you'll now have finesse with your braking   ^-^  load-cell and all.  the fact that you couldn't get any CSR-Elites means this upgrade will be truly massive!

Well....

Received on Tuesday and began the inversion process.  Was going great until one of the pedal bushings was very tight and needed to be persuaded with force to come off, throwing all my spacer all over the floor.  Needless to say, took another 2-3 hours to figure out what spacer went where.    >:(

Next day, I start investigating the mounting on the rig part.  Sigh...  That required quite a bit of a tear down and some much beefier wooden mounting plate.  Got that all back together last night.

I hope today is the last fucking day of setting stuff up.  I want to drive!!!!!  Should be only an hour at most and I should be good to go.

One question guys.  I assume the pedals by themselves and G25 (no pedals) by itself to a PS3 won't work?
