I'm surprised that no one has posted this.  Fanatec has a new wheel that is PS4, XBone, PS3 and PC compatible wheel: http://www.fanatec.com/us-en/steering-wheels/csl-steering-wheel-p1-for-xbox-one-usa.html
It is compatible with the clubsport wheel bases, a new CSL wheel base and more interestingly, it will be compatible with a new Direct Drive wheel base that Fanatec is developing.  Thomas from Fanatec has been posting on the iRacing forum.  All of their wheels are going to be compatible with all of the wheel bases.

It's in stock, $139.95 and fits CSW V1/V2. I am somewhat interested.

Also, a thread @ the planet on this.

Amazon has the Logitech G29 wheel on sale for $299.99.   A 25% savings.

Still too much for me at this time.   :adam:

I stumbled upon some news today and found out that with a little bit of money and a little bit of reading on how to assemble the device, there is a device/software package out there that will allow DFGT, G25 & G27 users to use their wheels with the PS4....  WITH FULL WORKING FFB.

http://gimx.fr/wiki/index.php?title=DIY_USB_adapter_for_dummies

I found a thread over at Neogaf and from what I can tell, this is no gimmick.  It's working as advertised.

For those interested, I may consider building and selling these devices for those that don't want to tackle building the device.

Well let me know what you're thinking on price! I haven't even clicked on the link yet, but I want one.

I read a bit more about that device to make old Logitech wheels work with PS4 and I think I'm going to wait a while and let it mature some more.  There's still some bugs and I also don't have a PS4 yet to test it out for myself.  I get my christmas bonus this week so depending on how much I get, I may get a PS4.

I'll keep y'all updated.

How much latency does it add?

There' two methods of doing this.

Bluetooth method is said to add 6 ms.
USB method is said to be pretty much non detectable, which to me means probably around 1 or 2 ms.

For you Fanatec guys, Is this a good deal? I understand he doesn't have a buy it now and depending on how high idiots try to run it up what would a good deal be on this used set?

Before they stopped selling it, the wheel was going for $200
The shifter is $150
the v2 pedals were going for $250 I think?

So that's $600 new.

$400 would be a pretty good deal I think.

FYI that wheel isn't nearly as good as your T500rs.

As for the wheel not being top of the line the other items are, the wheel is as good as a G27 in my eyes a touch better but you could later upgrade to a clubsport wheel and the whole set up would be the top of the line. Actually I might keep an eye on the auction with you. Would never think of snagging the chance away from you but if you lose interest I may let some other folks know about it. For now I won't say anything to them.

I was just thinking of the wheel as a spare. And the shifter as well, I have the TH8 and love it!

By all means tell them :) I was just looking around. My dryer quite the other day and after running an ohm test on all pertinent parts I narrowed it down to the timer unit. So we got to go buy a new dryer on Friday >:( So now it looks like another wait. I will also keep watching but doubt I will do anything.
