I plan on running it today at a few places to get a good shakedown of the car.  Join me if you like.  I will be on my the "cerrium TS" and the race server will be "stgt" password "stgt1"

Gonna start with the Nord, as it's fucking orgasmic in this car!  Then I plan to hit Silverstone GP and Bahrain.  After that is user choice.  :)

Ran a 6:31 in the Radical @ regular Green Hell on hard tires/fast track setting.

Real record is 6:48 for LM version and 6:55 in regular SR8.  But both runs were on semi-slicks.  I'd guess the Green track setting would be more true to life as well, so I'd say at least laptime wise, you're pretty damn close.

Speed wise it matches the LM version almost perfectly.  I hit 164 on the main straight on a pretty much default tune.

Could we add some semi-slicks?

Here is LM version real lap record...

And then regular SR8 real lap...

It's V.09 and tires are going to be tweaked.

They tweaked some graphics rendering stuff in the last update.

I wondered if you can turn up a setting or two as a result (for those who are not at max settings), and you can!

I turned up AA to max, which was one level higher.  I was also able to set reflections to max, but had to keep static rendering of those reflections.

It almost let me put AF up one level too, but there were some times with lots of cars on screen where things went south.

A great test track for frame rates is Silverstone (full), where the entrance to the main straight after chicane seems to make my PC drop a couple frames, even when everything else is smooth.  That tells me it's one of the most complex scenes you'll ever need to render.  I accept a few fps drop there from 60fps which is all my TV will take.

I'm more curious about the balance more than the time right now.  The original could run 5:56.  After my geometry change, with original tires 6:08.  Geometry and first set of tires, 6:22.  Second set of tires (your on now) was 6:40.  I was actually using that video to get accurate drag numbers (speed) and amount of slowing for corners to set tires.  Top speed is a tad off as well and I noticed the engine losses a lot of power in the last couple thousand rpm (need to redo torque curve), where the video keeps pulling.  I am also comparing other videos as well to reach a happy medium, road atlanta, cadwell and ascari.
