Ok guys I'm starting to feel bad playing around with all this content by myself. I just haven't had a lot of time to populate the downloads area. I do have
some free time, but I'd rather use it finding new stuff and then playing around with it.
So I'm going to do something a little bit different for now. The link below will take you to my shared Assetto Corsa folder on MediaFire. Contained in this folder will be every mod that I have, and I will add new mods (and updates) in here as well. I will notify you when something new is added or updated.
This is really easy to do on my end. Much easier than adding stuff to the downloads area here. Eventually, I
will add this stuff to the downloads area, but in the meantime this is a quick way for y'all to be able to download stuff and enjoy the game like I am able to.
Then only downfall is I won't be able to post info/previews/videos, so you'll have to decide/guess on what you think you'll want to play around with.
To make it a little bit easier for you to decide what you might want, I've separated cars & tracks into separate folders, based on how good I believe the car or track is. 4 star content is must have, 3 star is decent and probably worth getting, while 2 star is stuff that has some bugs or defects or are works in progress that may get move up the ladder at some point. 2 star stuff is if you're bored and just want to mess around.
When you click the link, you'll notice some other folders in there as well. Skins and apps folders are pretty much self explanatory. The MISC folder will mostly contain things like camera files, hotfixes and things like that.
Now, I still want to make it as easy as possible, so I will attempt to put everything in there in .zip format. The occasional .rar file might find it's way in there though. .rar files aren't much different from .zip, but you need specific software to open them called winrar. winrar can be downloaded from here -
http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm You'll want one of the top 2 downloads on that page, based on what type of operating system you have... either 32bit or 64bit.
****when installing winrar, make sure that when you reach the window that asks what file types you want to associate with winrar, UNCHECK ZIP****Super quick tutorial for winrar....
winrarOnce you extract the file to wherever you want it (I go with desktop cuz it's easy), right click the extracted folder, cut and paste into the appropriate AC folder. Hopefully you're all familiar now with where stuff goes in your AC directory.
So here's the link -
