This might be kind of a rare car but has anyone come across anything from Palatov Motors. http://www.palatov.com/index.html

There is a Palatov DP4 mod for rFactor.

Haven't seen one yet for the newer crop of sims.  I'm sure someone will do one later on down the road.

Oh happy days!

I use headphones to play.  Turtle Beach PX21's.  They're USB.  I've searched on and off for some equalizer software that would work on USB.

I finally found it!  The headphones were pretty decent to begin with, but now, holy shit it's great!

http://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/
http://sourceforge.net/projects/peace-equalizer-apo-extension/

I highly recommend anyone playing with headphones to grab this software.  Hell even if you don't use headphones it will still be extremely useful for better in game sound.

Download and install the software from the first link first.  When it asks what inputs and outputs you want to control, just put a checkmark next to the ones you want equalized.  If you're wanting it to work with headphones, make sure they're plugged in first so the program recognizes them.

Download the Peace GUI from the 2nd link, and put that file in your X:Program Files/EquilizerAPO Folder.  Then click on it to install.

Launch Peace GUI

Enjoy.

I used to have some really nice equipment back in the day for my home & car.   I had to get rid of most of it though and couldn't afford to do anything nice after that.

I never really put much thought into making my PC sound better so I'm super happy I found this software.  I actually came across it by chance, while looking up something completely different.   It's probably not great compared to some of the paid software, but it does what I need and it's free! :)

And yeah Youtube isn't great for music, but it's just so damn easy to hop around from band to band, song to song.  I'm lazy so I like easy.   :D

Mrs. Baked is an Amazon Prime member and showed me how much music I can get for free for my smartphone from their site. So far I have got some Hendrix, Faith No More, Dylan, The Band, Warren Zevon and Gary Clark Jr.. Whole albums free. Then my oldest iPod has about 35 solid days of music on it. Not to mention a couple of other devices. Allows me to bounce around the music styles to fit my mood with decent quality while avoiding commercials.

Faith No More

Don't know if you saw but they just announced they're working on their first album in 19 years.

Did see that, those types of situations can be so hit or miss. Not all of it is always on the band either as we go through life our tastes change sometimes what appealed to us earlier does not strike the same chord years later. What is weird though is the stuff from before can still be good with us, probably has something to do with the memories that go with the music forming a soundtrack for when our life flashes before our eyes.

Good buzz on here can ya tell?
