Friday, April 19.
Racing starts at ~9pm. I'll probably quit before 11pm.
~20 minute races

Honda S2000 '06 and BMW Z4 '03 at Laguna Seca.
Tuning prohibited.
Sport Medium tires

S2000 shall be limited to 220hp
HostTuna lounge

Tire wear probably normal. Draft weak. Light damage. No boost. Limited riving aids (abs and driving line OK)

All are invited. This is arrive and drive. I might ask drivers to limit the S2000 a bit. Come out and race. This setup should make for some great racing with a bunch of us on track.

Broke in a Z4 overnight for this event

Break in for the Z4 is a good idea. My testing staff has informed me that the S2000 has a notable advantage. I am putting a 220hp limit n the Honda. Please make sure you're Honda is limited for the races, as we are trusting drivers on this little detail.

Stepper, my first race was as good a race as I've been in in years.  For my second race I started towards the back while you started in the front.  I got to second place in a couple laps but realized we were running the same lap times and it was going to be hard to catch a guy 6 seconds ahead by running the same lap times.  I started experimenting with different lines to see if I could make up some ground, but all I did was end up going backward.  You were the fastest out there.

You two were both badass on the S2000. I had a few good races too, in both cars, with a few different guys. Thanks for coming out everyone.

Look out for another event next Friday. This time a full length - over 45 minutes - single model race. Everyone's imvited.

As mentioned via an XMB msg, the Z4 and BRZ were very closely matched around the track.  I know the original idea was topless foes, but since the Z4 was destroyed by the S2000 the Twins were a good substitute.  Hey and I had an amazing race Friday night...we were neck and neck the whole time.
