Update 1.05 undocumented changes
http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/update-1-05-undocumented-changes.304878/

Undocumented Changes

Special Color M4 in the BMW dealership (Frozen Black Metallic) EDIT: BMW M4 Coupé Frozen Black Metallic coloured model has been removed with Ninja update.
When watching replays of online races, or when watching live online races names can be removed above cars online and off. If you turn off names for spectating, they will remain off while racing. This feature does not carry over from lobby to lobby, it must be reset for each lobby entered.
In the Car Settings menu, to the right of Tuning Sheet C, there is a button for a regulations check for your individual car.
Tune sheets can be copied to one another but no reset button for settings yet
Whoever sets the fastest lap in practice session online will show up in the chat log with the time being Purple
In online lobbies, when exiting the room settings menu using the O button, if no changes have been made, then you are taken straight back to the lobby, instead of having to confirm that you want to make no changes etc.
Possible further refinement to motion blur, the warped screen edge is reduced.
Formula GT's cockpit view has HUD speedometer and rev dials, the one from the 'Normal View'
In Race Photo Mode: No changes to your settings of F-number and Exposure when you were in the Camera Menu.
Qualifying time minimum now 5 minutes
Some standards may have been improved. Possible list HERE
Fixed the split time bug when in practice mode online. However now you can only see your best time in the top right hand corner and not that of the entire lobby however the split times are still against the best lap in the room. Also your times get erased completely each time you exit the track and the split times will change to being set against the best lap from those still on the track.
Bumper cam style gauges with interior view on simplified interior cars instead of chase cam style gauges
Seems that the "possibility of change wheather" (the one with 0-60 values) now effects the humidity of the track instead of changes of the wheather...
With 80% humidity at start and 0% wheather and possibility of change at 50, the track surface reaches from 80% to 0% in about... 10 seconds...
Top speed no longer artificially limited offroad, but TC remains in effect
If you hold the "X" button while hovering over an open lobby, it reveals the individual room regulations.
Problem with High RPM Turbo on HSV '10 Anniversary Edition documented HERE seems to be fixed

I actually think that this update is worse than I thought it would be.  I figured we'd at least get a new imaginary car and a new seasonal.  Instead we only got an old car with a new paint job and no new seasonals.

the update is large enough to contain a car that might not be released yet...

Maybe race mode replay used to alter F-stop and exposure settings.

I don't remember if those settings got changed, but certainly the aspect ratio is changed back to 3:4 every time you exit camera mode...  I hope they fixed that.  I want it to remember I want Panning Mode 3 as default too!

I am not sure why these things can't be documented by PD!

This particular item was a user request, great for making videos. Now, if we can remove annoying IDs while doing Seasonals...

Up button on the d-pad, same as turning the ghost on/off.

That doesn't help if you still want to see the lines, just not the IDs blocking your view.

BTW, these blue lines move in 3D space. If a car hits a curb, the line rises.

that was one that I really wanted, so I'm glad we got it!  Very small thing to code, but makes video editing much more pleasing to the eye.  I want to go check and see if we can turn names on/off during the replay.  Because, for a longer race, I could see wanting to give the viewer a reminder of who's in which car.  Kind of like how a basketball game shouldn't need to always show the score on the screen, but should occasionally pop-up for new viewers tuning in...

Rather than a car search of delaerships, I'd much rather he dealership show that I owned the car when it is in the STOCKYARD. I keep buying dupes by mistake.

Oh, and why can't they "ninja update" some of the blatant bugs...  A reset button when tuning for example...

If you want the black BMW, you can do the following...

1) Download 1.05

2) When it's installing (after it's downloaded); turn your internet off (router/modem) so it can't ask you to download the hotfix afterwards.

3) Load into the game, get the BMW.

4) Save, then quit game.

5) Turn your router/modem back on. You can now download the hotfix and go online as you wish.

I'm sure we'll get it at some point anyway.

A couple of weeks ago I posted this in another thread here..

.... it's good that we can now set HP / KG / PP all together and some of the other car choice restrictions are interesting but we can't use them all at once.  It's an "Either / Or" situation, you can set up the specific power / weight restrictions OR you can choose a class / manufacturer.  Why are we not allowed to choose say the GT500 class AND set power / weight restrictions as well?

.. then this pops up in the undocumented patch notes from GTP..

Undocumented update changes copy/pasted from GTP...

- It is now possible to also [Filter by Performance] even when [Car Selection Method] is set to [Filter by Make] or [Filter by Category].

.. PD's watching us, I can feel their beady eyes burning a hole in my head, they're everywhere man!

Feldynn, does it work as advertised, is the real question.  When you actually simultaneously set all those restrictions (or attempt to) is it really working the way we'd desire?

I'm going home early to download this update :D  We shall see!
(I was up working 'till 4am today so I think I can cut-out less than an hour early ;) )
