"Engine brake reduction control on formula cars have been disabled
The engine brake reduction control that was active on certain formula cars have now been disabled. (This is a feature that helps drivers avoid spinning out from excessive braking forces generated by the engine at throttle off, by slightly opening the throttle while cornering even with the accelerator pedal completely released.)"

I knew I wasn't going nuts!  Thank you soooooooooooo much for this PD.

I always felt it on the RedBull and just assumed it was the exhaust blown diffuser engine mapping.

Not sure about caliper colors, sort of excited, but don't want to pay $2,000.00 for it.

Supposedly, there's a lot more in this update, than meets the eye. A guy on GTP, who has access to GT6's code, says he is seeing Curcuit de la Sierra(Zahara, if you remember that). That was a very long track created with the so far fabled Course Creator. Also, looks like the Alpha Romeo VGT car is in there as well.

I personally couldn't care less about VGT cars, number plates, or painted calipers, BRING ON THAT COURSE CREATOR!!!

Also, some talk of rooms not showing up in lobby. Fix may be simple it's the last post in this short thread.
(eject disc, turn off PS3, turn on PS3 then insert disc.)

$2,000 sounds a lot like the Porsche options when purchasing a car.  "They come in red, but if you want them yellow it's $2,000" sort of thing...

seems high if that's how it is the the game, but at the same time it's basically chump change compared to other costs in GT.

anyways, this update looks really cool from what I just read.

I was home for lunch and started the update, unfortunately 45 minutes was not enough time for it to finish. So I will have to wait until tonight to find out how much brake caliper painting costs.

Sounds more like the issue was fixed and now is back to effed up again
