PDI says that the Final Drive bug should be fixed soon.

Also, I haven't tested this yet, but apparently, if you don't adjust the FD last, then everything should be fine.

Not sure if its been mentioned here, but this bug only seems to affect (me at least) online seasonal events.  If I go into an open lobby with a car utilizing custom gear ratios they aren't reset to default when I drive on the track.

You are correct online racing is unaffected. It is only seasonals and offline. It also only has an effect on the current tune slot in use. So if you enter using "A" it will not affect "B" or "C".

I noticed that the AI pairing for the Expert Seasonal seems a bit off, so someone at PDI is going to ask about it.

Seems a bit odd having GT40s up against some of these other cars.
I was still losing ground at the finish, in a few races.  ::)

Right, but think of the logical side.

The Seasonal is set up for cars with a maximum of 600 PP, but 600 PP cars can be left sucking in what's left of the lead car's dust after most of it has settled or blown away while you try to catch up.

If that's the case, then the PP system obviously isn't working in a consistent, reliable manner.

Right, but think of the logical side.

I gave the FTO Super Touring car a shot on my first attempt. The AI got the Toyota TS030. My best lap 1'27 was pretty much 2 seconds off pace.

I will now attempt it with the same Toyota. I am going to make sure that car is in my line up. I need Ricks95 as I am not a numbers guy, but I know I will begin the 5 lap race with a 20 second deficit. At a guess I believe I will need 1'21 to 1'23's to have a shot, unless the leader folds under pressure.

Luckily I got same or similar enough lineup. Toyota plus McLaren F1 GTR. I only managed two laps in the '23's, but I was only 3 seconds behind first place.

Don't forget your trans will automatically reset to default at this race. I really like the gears in this tune too. So copy over to another slot for later use, is my suggestion.

600pp Expert race Challenge done with Toyota TS030. Ran a 24 opening lap with the rest in the '23's except for my final turn mishap I would have had a 8 second margin minimum.

Good luck, you can do it.

So, what did they do? Turn the AI up yo 11, maximize the pp probabilities and find just the right car? I am not sure, but I have to say there is nothing wrong with a good challenge.   

Also, I forgot to mention you only need to use 2, 3 and 4th gears since the trans defaults. You can of course play with top speed setting and individual gears if you chose, though I did not bother with that here.

ya the TS030 got it done. I had tried the new VGT Lexus and got my shit handed to me by the Nissan Concept racecar. I have no memory of my lap times
