I hope GT6 has moar suits and helmets. That's all that really matters anyway. And I hope there are museum cards for every manufacturer.

I just achieved that GT5 trophy for too much crap and I will be happy to send you suits and helmets.  :)

Also, museum cards, why can't we delete them?

until I can feel the clutch engagement I'll personally stick with the mano-matic that we currently have.

or do the better wheels start to offer you some feedback in the clutch pedal to let you know whne engaged?

I'll experiment with it some more. But I swear I tried it the other day in GT5. I put in the clutch, hit the gas, car moved. That was the last time I tried it in GT5.

In iRacing, there really isn't any "feel" for the engagement other than when the clutch is in and you hit the gas, the rpms go up and the car does not accelerate. I would really like to see GT6 support this fully for the simulation factor. I know it makes me slower to use it, but it's great practice. I'd rather be slow in the sim but fast on the track.   ;)

iRacing has an anti-stall feature so you can't stall the car by leaving it stationary and releasing the clutch with the car in gear.  You can turn that off in rFactor2.  iRacing also has a flaw where you can "preselect" a gear then tap the clutch to change gear.

The CSP V2s have a degressive clutch so it feels like it is engaging/disengaging but that doesn't guaranty that the bite point is the same as in the game.  But does it matter so much in a racing game?  You are never easing the clutch out while racing.  Don't you just drop it when starting and just quickly on and off while changing gears?

The museum cards don`t count against the item count, so just ignore them. dm over at ps forum tested this.

Though I don't have much experience with it game wise I kind of felt the clutch in GT5 was a bit "digital" compared to the PC games I've tried it on and that some effects, while there, aren't necessarily presented well in GT5.  Like for example I'm sure you can actually stall the car in GT5 especially at low speeds but it's not easy to notice.  Other games seem to do a better job of presenting the "bite" mechanic of a clutch compared to GT5, that's sort of what I mean by it feels a bit "digital" so it seems like there's not the same progression / modulation between clutch and throttle so the clutch is either ON or OFF in GT5.

Yeah, on-off is fine. I use it during braking a lot in iRacing. Need to be able to blip the accelerator and downshift.

I had thought of that ... doesnt it sound too much like the candy bar?  What is it? Zagnut? Sounds too crazy, which I'm not ... maybe anal, but not nutts.

I wouldnt do that to 'Stepper anyways ... he enjoys the new recipient too much. :)  Besides, its too much work to reestablish a garage.  I did it once .... maybe, just maybe, if I've earned a Tuna_name, I'll come up with something for GT6
