That looks perfect for what I want. I dug that when showing a new car that did so on a familiar track. Brilliant find thank you very much Feldynn.

Also there was this posted on GTP which I didn't notice until just now and should be reposted here just because it's Top Gear from 20 years ago and still full of awesomeness :).

All the Willow Springs footage looks really good, considering how old the PS3 actually is it sure didn't look it on the replays!  I don't know the real track at all but it's nice to see something that isn't smooth and flat, like going off track you really see how uneven the dirt / sand and how it falls away when the track's a little banked / cambered.

My only complaint about this is that it appears when a car goes off track it's super forgiving. With that uneven terrain, if you hit one of those uneven sections sliding off the track, you'd be in a world of hurt. They probably don't have the crash physics fully implemented yet or something.

I would be willing to use that to commute in 9 months out of the year. To and from work 95% of the time I am alone anyhow. And before anyone calls bullshit on my claim it is no less practical than a motorcycle and people use those as an accepable commuter vehicle quite often.

I'm under the impression that could be a future Tuna Cup car.

Maybe they did not have off track surface set to real?

You know what would be super? Being able to check a box next to x number of cars and then hit "change oil" and not have to sit through some Scott Joplin (as nice as it is) and a lengthy cut scene. Batch oil changes and chassis/engine rebuilds. And the ability to do it in-lobby. Puh-lease.

yea, no shit.  We're already pretending to be Jay Leno with the car collection, and he has a full time mechanic who I'm just guessing, also keeps up with oil changes????

I have been saying for a while we need "fleet maintenence" and itemized billing at the end of shopping at the dealerships. Dont make us buy them one at a time go through all the animations each and every fucking time.  Let me buy eight cars tell me what the total is and move on from there.

84 screens here - http://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-6-e3-trailer-84-screenshots-reveal-new-cars-tracks-locations/

many of those screens show a shift in demonstration of the cars with respect to even a few weeks ago at the 15th anniversary announcement.  They are rendering the cars with reflections from one of the more scenic locations, probably a photo mode location, and then removing the location and placing the car on a blank showcase area (whitish grey)

that shows the car's reflective beauty much better than the bland shots we received previously, and that inspired people like myself to say that the paint jobs looked more dull.  I now have to retract that statement ;)

I'm definitely intrigued that more and more GT3 spec race cars are being revealed  ;D

hopefully the PP system is enhanced to allow all of these class cars to truly be competetive depending on the driver more than the car... as it is now, there is one ringer car in each pp range that dominates with equal-ish drivers.

And in the real series these cars are equaled by added weight or decreased horsepower. So we end up going back to asking for improved room host controls. Let's select a list of cars and be able to adjust each with it's own PP or HP and WT.  :)

from that footage, it looks like two wheels off is now called a "left the track" penalty... hopefully not because that is usually legal in racing.
