Haven't seen anything from Jordan yet, but did run across this...

http://www.destructoid.com/kazunori-yamauchi-on-gran-turismo-6-and-beyond-256119.phtml

Really the only thing worth noting, is more info at Gamescon, with the rest filled with the usual Kaz bs.

Saw a note from Jordan regarding that Destructoid piece this morning...

Those quotes didn't come from my interview session.  I was also thankful to have about 15 minutes with him one-on-one before the "round table" started.  We covered some important questions, and his answers contained some pleasant surprises.  :)

I'll begin the transcription process tomorrow.

Hopefully he has something less vague to share later on.

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and speculate that we will be able to change the numbers on these race cars. If you'll notice in this video, the four race cars in it, are numbered 0-3, and the Deltawing's plate looks a lot like the RM's number plates.

While I certainly hope that turns out to be true, I'm not so sure it will be.

I did a quick google search and it seems the numbers seen in the video correspond with the numbers commonly used in real life...

Sorry for being...

  at Buzz Killington.

I didn't bother to research it, so thanks for doing so, Wiz.

Sure is a heck of a coincidence, or maybe not, that those car's numbers are in order though.

yea, I doubt the numbers on team race cars will be changable, because it's sorta part of the branding of the car.  if not a legal obligation to keep them 'as is' then a self-imposed obligation for PD to be "purists" probably will keep them from being changed.

I hope we do get the ability to add numbers to any other car we like, though.  It would help some race series', even if not RM variety cars.

:ditto

I'd put a black 5 on an orange charger; a 53 on a bug and it's off to the drive-in...

Also also put 3 on the side of an SUV and do our first rerun of a movie...

I guess this is kind of Sixy so should go in this thread, anyways I found this here article linked over on GTP and thought it might be of interest, since it was short I thought I'd copy / paste it for everything's viewing pleasure!

AIRBORNE GT-R RECREATED IN GT6

With all the buzz around E3 the past few days, we thought we would share these images provided to us by our good friend Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the Gran Tursimo driving game series. The top photo is of his racecar at the Nürburgring, which went airborne on a fast straight on the Nordschleife. The image below is after his team of GT6 engineers adjusted the wings and other aerodynamics of the virtual car in the game as they were set on the real racecar. As you can see, almost exactly the same thing happened. It just goes to show the amazing accuracy of the GT6 physics engine

First part of Jordan's interview is up on GTP

http://www.gtplanet.net/gran-turismo-6-engine-sounds/

Quick summary of the juicy bits:

Sounds in the demos currently are place holder sounds, new / better sounds hopefully ready in time for launch!
AI is being worked on and should be improved eventually.
Willow and Silverstone have Time / Weather change, not all tracks do yet but hopefully in time.

Essentially Kaz is saying they're going back to basics and rebuilding just about everything in the game, the new graphics and physics stuff we've seen but they're also working on better AI, Sounds and time / weather for more tracks.
