What track is that?

Something new?  Perhaps a course creator location?

Looks Matterhorny to me, but I could be wrong.  Might be an alternate layout Matterhorn track or just a funny angle or something completely different :).

At least it's coming out December 6th and not the 7th.

yea that was probably a good idea... hpefully GT6 is really awesome so it won't be two days back to back that shall forever live in infamy.

that pic could depict AI drivers following more than one or two lines around a turn, and thus a huge improvement to their behavior.  I don't see how it could be humans because that manny people racing closely usually does not work, except for maybe here.

I thought the same but wasn't Matterhorn all snowy?

Based on that, here's some wild speculation for ya...   could that mean there's seasons?

Found this link over at GTP, Countdown to GamesCom:

http://gamescom.eu.playstation.com/

Be interesting to see what new things we learn, though I'm not holding my breath for any groundbreaking announcements.  Not that I wouldn't appreciate finding out something groundbreaking, I'm just not going to get all giddy with expectation because we'll probably just get some new screenshots / videos and maybe some hints about what'll come out at the next "big show".

This reminds me of this

Just announcing the announcement of an announcement.

Linking to announcements of announcements and then quoting those links is pretty cool, too :P

Why yes, yes it is.

I couldn't think of the name, but that the track I think it is.

And from previous videos, that track had multiple sections blocked off, for multiple variations.

Some track info, and a list at the bottom of all the tracks being carried over from GT5. Top Gear is not on the list.

That online / lobby GUI looks a whole lot nicer than the current one does, also while there's still not a great deal of detail about all the individual features themselves yet but it does look like it may be heading in the right direction at least.

From the "Online Lobby" article...

Quote
races with qualifying rounds

Oh thank fuck.  I just hope it works as it should.  But it sounds like no more "reset the track" shit.

Also, the last screenshot gave me a chuckle...

In pCARS, weather options are the following,

Clear
Cloudy
Cloudy 2
Heavy clouds
Heavy clouds 2
Foggy
Light rain
Heavy rain
Thunderstorm

In GT6, apparently it's...

Good
Bad

Too bad Top Gear is not listed. It may have just been over looked or yes not carried over.

Yep I see it now 15th anniversary cars have 15th anniversary paint and 15th anniversary stripe.

I'm glad to see the return of Apricot Hill, I used it for a test and tune track for years.

I think Forza scooped up the exclusive license for Top Gear.  I don't think we'll see it in GT6.
