They mentioned cones, and they mentioned a preset track, but they didn't mention customizing the layout, which is weird because that would be a relatively big feature add that they should spotlight.  That you can create auto-x courses.

But maybe that is part of the Course Creator release later, so they are saving that announcement for then?

That suggests some customization of cones.  Maybe not free reign but some customization.

Any idea what this track is? It looks like Ascari, but I'm starting to agree with Feldynn said last night and think its the Goodwood Circuit.

.. now I'm not sure now if it is the Goodwood circuit or not, seems like you might be right Zilla and it is Ascari lol.  I guess we'll find out in a few weeks :).

We shall see indeed. I mean it could be Goodwood, but the trees just look too similar to ones I saw at Ascari. I could be wrong... i don't know what trees are native to europe.

EDIT: I looked at the Goodwood Circuit and there isn't a corner on that track that looks like that screenshot... unless GT6 features that track in reverse.

Goodwood runs clockwise and those two cars appear to be running counter-clockwise, which is what Ascari runs.

My guess...  Ascari.

True but do you see any huge walls right next to the track? :p Bathurst doesn't have a single area that is that open.

Ascari is my guess.  It is not Bathurst .  I have put hundreds of miles on that track to know just about every foot of it.  I am so excited for it to be included in GT6.


Quick question.  Does anyone know if there is a "Collectors Edition" GT6?  I bought the CE for GT5 but I have not heard any news about a CE this time around for GT6.

My copy of GT6 has been paid off since E3 but wanted to know if a CE copy is coming out.  I'll need to pay more if so!
