there's a LOT of stuff like this that still needs fixing, for sure. A lot of stuff that just doen'st make any sense, that someone should have spotted prior to the discs getting pressed.
BUT, I will say the mitigating factor here is that the game was at least released on time. I suppose in typical PD fashion (heck, let's admit it, it's t ypical perfectionist fashion) they focus on the behind the scenes stuff like the underlying programming of vehicle behavior ect. but don't see the painfully obvious stuff like a menu button being wrong, or something.
I think if the game came out two months later, a lot of this pollishing wouldn't have been necessary. But, then we'd still either be playing GT5 or not at all, so I don't know how to weigh those two options other than to say, I am having a lot of fun with this title, so I'm glad it's out!
In the end, we are the beta testers, unfortunately.
