Has shuffle racing been removed?

Yes.   Rumor mill says it could come back in an update.

I got to say, the seasonal TT's have been worth doing. The gold times are not as easy to get, as they were in 5, and I've actually enjoyed them.

Also, WheelerTurner is hauling ass. :tiphat at all his insanely fast times.

I had a go in the X-blow street version. Managed gold with no tune. I went back and used this tune http://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/motor-city-tunes-gt6.291066/page-8#post-9225723 for a 1'07.1xx SRF free time.

That reminds me. The X-bow in stock form is undriveable for me. What I wound up doing for the TT, was adding 191kg, and putting it all on the front, which put the weight balance at 50/50. The added weight lowered the PP, which allowed for more power. I ran the same tires on all 4, whatever the limit was, and was able to get gold. Trans, suspension were stock, as I didn't know what to do with them. Don't remember what my time was, but the car was very driveable with that setup.

Yep.  Adding weight to the front of the X-bow is pretty helpful.  So too, is reducing brake balance as much as you can.  Don't make the front do anything BUT steering, especially if tires are crappy.

I really want to try MC's tune that Dude just posted.  I still needa  lot of help with that event.

Also, FUCK SRF!!!!!
(I love that a lot of you aren't using it.)

The Ascari TT in the NSX has been a really nice challenge.  I ran it and ran it and ran it, chasing your damn blue lines.  Finally got a gold, but way off they times some of you are posting.
Very happy that these TT make me work for a gold.  No more one lap and done.

Also, eff SRF.

I concur

The NSX one was the most fun, and where I spent most of my time.

Also, I've started play GT6 on my MMXtreme account for shits and giggles. It's fun to try and beat my other times in the license tests.

Not sure if anyone has posted this yet, but some tests we did after GT Sats this week made it seem like the Tire Wear with respect to Pit Stops, is fixed.

We saw very similar times going around Motegi Oval before and after pit stops, with different wear settings, tires, and cars.

If anyone believes differently please let us know!

I ran the 10 lap race at Suzuka and the tires wore out very quickly after my pitstop. I ran racing soft tires and pitted at the end of lap 5 with 6's shown on the tires. I barely completed the 9th lap and could not finish the 10th lap due to no rear tires. I don't recall if it was Saturday or Sunday morning when I ran this.

Was this an a-spec event?  I'm more interested in the pit-stop giving you tires taht felt like the old ones did when they were new.  Did that happen?  Or, did the new tires feel worse than the original ones when they were new?

Thanks

Those mc tunes are pretty good for these seasonal events.  cars are much looser.  I really struggle with understeer in GT6.  Loosening the car really helps for me.

The 10 minute Suzuka race is a career mode race (offline). The track goes through wet and dry conditions. The tire wear should have remained constant, but it did not.

Also, the tire squeal was more noticeable on the second set.

To answer your question the racing soft tires were not the same.

I've have always liked his tunes. They feel very neutral to me too.
