Whoever sets the fastest lap in practice session online will show up in the chat log with the time being Purple

I was hoping so, but apparently it doesn't even matter...  cuz it doesn't appear to work!  I've been in MNR room for a good hour now, switched tracks a few times, no purple anything, anywhere.

Good jorb PD!  :P

^This works, as I tried it out yesterday. Nothing special about the car, other than the color, and the fact that we aren't suppose to have it.  :laugh

It was supposed to be limited to the first 1000 to make it to the 2rd round of the Asian BMW thing.

last night while testing some race cars i was using the Mazda LM race car. When shifting gears with the H shifter, while the gear changes, the indicator stays the same. Using paddle shifters all is normal. Other cars seem fine
Also anyone else notice different handling characteristics since 1.05? specifically in the front end. I thought it was my tunes but stock seems the same way
Also also a couple of race cars... Z4 and Audi R8 seem to pull hard right under braking.. :o

I was driving something the other night and happened to run into the same problem Soks!  I forget which car it was (possibly the AARP Cuda) but the problem was caused by the Fully Custom Racing Transmission upgrade, with the custom tranny the H shifter on my G27 did nothing but the flappy paddles worked just fine.. I put the stock transmission back in the shifter worked fine, so I'm thinking there's something funky going on with certain cars and the custom trans (I assume it's only certain cars though as I'm sure we'd have heard if it affected all cars with fully custom transmissions).

Someone in an on-line room suggested that cars have more understeer after 1.05.

I spent 4 drunken hours trying to tune that Roadster TC for tonight and it still has too much understeer. So I would have to agree.
