What tracks?

80's variations of Brands Hatch & Monza.

From what I'm reading, it's the track layout only. The surroundings are modern, which seems kind of odd.

Yes, it felt really odd.  At Monza, the new grand stand with the huge overhanging podium superstructure at the main straight is a bit jarring.  Also, when I watched one of the old GP video at Monza, you can see the paved oval track joining the new circuit at Rettifilio.  The PD version is all sand trap. 

Overall, it is nice to get new variation of the classic tracks.

Just opened GT6 and got 5 DL cars for doing the Final GT5 Event, except I don't remember doing it ( no wise cracks lol ).

However, I only received them on my PS Plus account, so maybe its a freebie for having PS Plus.

No way, the only thing I ran in GT5 in the last 6 months was the Tuna Shuffle ( sounds like a dance lol )
I also got the 5 cars on my other PS3 on my Peyepete account, which hasn't had GT5 in since GT6 came out.

I didn't get anything yet but I don't expect I will, I enjoyed the Mazda one but gave up after about 20 minutes of failed laps on the Nurb one.

You only need to complete one of them. Loved the Mazda TC, but I didnt even attempt the Nurb .... it was the night of 'Steppers "Last GT5 Shuffle".

I got the 5 prize cars last night.  In doing that event I had more of an issue with the Top Gear track.  I never really used it because it was hard (IMO) to stay on course.  Had to turn on the driving line (which I never use) to guide me in the right direction, haha.  The Nurb one wasn't too hard, just took me 1 clean lap to accomplish (which I achieved on my second overall attempt).  Though...I'm still working on the GT5 Nurburgring enduro (5 hrs left!) so I'm pretty damn familiar with that track right now

there's a possiblity that the person in charge of the prize car project thought it was best to err on the side of inclusion, rather than exclusion, because once the deadline is passed, there is no way to go backto GT5 and complete them.

This sounds like something someone at work I know would do.  State that you must complete the time trials, but then actually award the cars to anyone who is known to have logged on to GT5 during a certain period, just to make sure you don't piss anyone off.  But then, that's not really PD's M.O, is it
