Track:  Circuit de la Sarthe 2009

When: Thursday, June 20rd
Official Running Time: 8-11:00pm EDT
Lounge:  HostTuna
Lounge PP Limit:  600
Car Setup: Open but with a Wrinkle!
Tires:  Racing Hard
Wear:  Fast
Grid:  Reverse grid based on previous results
Start Times:  Auto clock set to 6 mins
Lap Count: 3 or 4


Wrinkles:
All cars must have an obnoxious wing at Default settings please
Race clean, race hard, have fun!

Notes:  As a prelude to Casual Friday's trip to France in the full on LMP cars I thought it might be nice to take a gentle drive around the track the day before, get to know all the strange and interesting sights and sounds of Le Mans and have a little fun in the GT2 / GTE class road cars that best represent this years entries the closest!  

Grab a car, slap on a wing, shove some bits on the engine, toss out the interior and lets go racing!

Thanks to all who share the track I had some great racing with so many people that I am not going to name them off for fear of forgetting someone. But hot damn I had a good time. Thanks Feldynn this was a great time and running so close with so many people in world class cars on an iconic track felt like more fun than I should be allowed to have.  :)  ;)  :D  ;D

Had such fun just jumped on Netflix to watch Truth in 24 II. Am also looking forward to the Casual Friday tomorrow when we will step up to the GTP cars.

In true Tuna style I managed to make a slight faux pas in the original post LOL, I accidentally copied / pasted the standard Viper SRT instead of the premium SRT Coupe.  Didn't notice until after the first race when I realised everyone was in the '03 and I was in the '06, no biggie but it was funny  . 

Still it all worked out well in the end, cars seemed pretty even, racing was great, high speed goos times!  Thanks everyone that dropped in tonight!

Apologies to those affected by my Vettes aero-lift in the 1st chicane ... and also to those affected by my sliding across the track because Grilled couldn't see me in the room, pits or on track.  I should have anticipated and corrected for that,  it wasnt his fault in the slightest.

I noticed the others were all "premmies" so I figured it was a typo and went the 2006 route myself. The car was red & black and beautimous.

Started in the Aston.  Loved the looks of the Viper so much I stayed with it.  As such, I never made it to the Vette or 458.  We'll need to reprise this ideas in the future so I can try the other two on for size.

i wouldn't bother apologizing Agent you weren't the only person on track i couldn't see i should have rebooted since i was likly my connection... anyways after the first race  the invisible cars became visible and i had some very fun enjoyable races at this event
