I like em, but they get quite boring if there's no one else on track of a similar skill level as you and it turns into a time trial enduro.

go ahead and post this up on PS Forum too, because with some of the participants of Crow's series and Ed's vette series, I'd think there would be some closer competition...

depending on when it is held and my availability, I might be interested too...

I've been online once in the last six weeks, but a good enduro will always bring me out of retirement.

I'm super busy for the next 7-8 days but after that I should have some vehicle specs set up and ready to go (hint:  challenger TC will most likely be stock, with the Camaro modified to bring it up to a similar PP).

A stock TC Challenger with downforce turned all the way up is around 605 hp and 602 PP.  That will probably creep up a bit with engine break in.  I'm trying to build up a Camaro RM to match the Challenger's speed but am having difficulty.

A) If anyone would be willing to help I would appreciate it.

or

B) If there is interest in a spec race with just the Challenger we can do that ;D

I noticed one thing.  In stock form the cars have a completely different set of parts.  I matched their parts up and ran some pretty close times, but I think the Dodge still has an edge.  If you have not, try adding the stage one engine mod, ECU chip, Sports Intake Manifold, Racing Air filter, Sports Exhaust Manifold, Catalytic Converter: Sports and adjustable LSD.

As it stands both of my cars have a little over 200 miles on them and have the following numbers with all adjustables set to default.

Camaro RM - 559hp, 500 torque, 2.13 power/weight, 1210 kg 606pp

Dodge TC - 618hp, 528 torque, 2.05 power/weight, 1285 kg 595pp

This is in no way a definitive match; I have not run nearly enough laps with it. The Camaro may need more or the challenger less.

I did not run enough to be consistent in either car but in a series of 5 lap runs my lap times were within ~.300 of each other and in the 1:47 - 1:46 range.

thanks dlr.

I hate restricting engine output, as the power curves thus become unrealistic.  So I'm trying to leave the Challenger stock and just bring the Camaro up to a competitive level.  Stock it only has 480hp or so (if memory serves correct).  If the Camaro can reach around 550hp via the engine "stage" upgrades instead of a supercharger I think they will be closely matched.

Of note, I left all suspension/drivetrain settings stock and set both vehicles transmissions to a top speed of 203 (for testing).  I also maxed out the Challenger's downforce (15F 35R) and set the Camaro's downforce to match (though it's capable of much higher).

Bump...

Seems these days I'm getting bored from all the tedious testing of these darn things.  Is anyone still interested in this, as just a single make race?

How about:

-Challenger TC
-Spa 50 laps
-a Friday night in August

I'm open to other venue preferences.

Anybody home?

I spent about 2 hours last night and I think I've got the Challenger & Camaro evenly matched up.  Let's do a race!!!!

Responses please! :)

I'm all for it.

Also, just in case, an FYI: This duck does not mind getting wet.
