Great Grumpy!

Okay, after doing further testing I have come to consensus on a vehicle match up!!!  Unmodified Challenger SRT8 TC and modified Camaro SS RM.

A fully broken in stock Challenger should have around 621hp and weigh 1285 kg.  Max downforce available is 15F/35R.

Camaro build specs:

-stage 2 engine upgrade
-sport intake manifold
-sport exhaust manifold
-racing air filter
-75 kg ballast
-downforce set to 15F/35R

That should result in 556 hp fully broken in.  Other than down force all settings can be adjusted (suspension, transmission, etc).
The Challenger (obviously) maintains a horsepower edge but the Camaro's handling seems to offset it.

Event settings:
-Race Medium Tires
-Driving aids allowed:  ABS = 1, TCS & Driving Line
-Damage Mild
-Penalties Off
-Tire/Fuel set to fast

Participants:
-WolfpackS2k
-TunaPhreak
-RickS95
-dlrws6
-GrumpyTuna (maybe)
-cr0wlft0fdmurder
-F1Cheetor
-exXboxFan (?)
-waverider*tuna
-GrilledTuna                    Challenger

horsepower figures updated for fully broken in cars

The rash of discos we seemed to have in the past several weeks makes me shy away from doing long races at the moment. That is my personal thoughts though I don't claim to speak for anyone else.

I understand that concern, however I've only witnessed one disco in the last 45 days or so*

*I've been racing a bit less though  :P

Better put me down as a ?, because my mother is coming up from California today. I'm not sure how long she will be staying, so the 23rd would be better for me maybe.

Noted!

I'll admit right now that I'm leaning towards the Challenger.  I think the Camaro's handling is more sublime, however I've got an e-boner for the challenger's exhaust note ;D

VOTE ON WHICH DATE IS BETTER FOR YOU:

August 9th

August 16th

Either date works for me.

  • Do or do not, there is no try.

Voted for 9th (no official poll I'm seeing?) because it's sooner :)

My PSN is PsychoPhreak, not TunaPhreak. You can tune a car but you can't TunaPhreak!
