The car specs for the Rocket are 581 points and 197 HP maximums. Naturally aspirated only please but other than that bolt on any engine parts you wish to get these numbers. Tuning is open. Tires are sports softs.

points for the series will be awarded as follows

pos.=pts.
1=35        9=16
2=32       10=14
3=29       11=12
4=26       12=10
5=24       13=8
6=22       14=6
7=20       15=4
8=18       16=2

There will be bonus points this time around as well. In a field of eight or less qualifiers the pole sitter will get two points. In a field with more than eight qualifiers the pole sitter is awarded four points and his front row counterpart will get two points. And no matter the size of the field the runner of the fastest lap in the race gets three points.

Format will be enough qualifying time for three maybe four laps. Then a race of approximately 25 mins.

As was the case this past month the room officially opens at 9 Q starts at 9:30. All times are eastern. The lounge of choice at this moment will be Baked's place. Want to join in, I must receive your friend invite by 5 on Friday. Consider that the pre registration deadline.

Any questions have I not been clear? More than possible but rather quite likely, just ask.

Going into the sophomore season I have several aspirations. Some as a racer the usual ones wanting to be faster, smoother and more consistent. But as the event promoter I also want o see things happening. Bigger fields and more close racing although the first season had plenty of this so if it can just be maintained I would be pleased.

To those who started their career in the karts good luck and I am looking forward to seeing you all out there for the coming season. And to anyone wanting to start now come on out join in the fun it is shaping up to a fun series if any of the pre season testing is to be believed.

This should be really fun and educational at the same time.  I hope to plan to be there, or plan to hope to be there.  One of those.

 Well that didn't go so good! First race I forgot to set that speed on the transmission, had it at 180! Then the second race was going fair and then I get booted! Guess there is next week, see everybody there!

I didn't do very well, and it didn't really have much to do with Chevy bumping me in the first race.  Sure, I caught up okay, but the second race and my Saturday races were all very sloppy.

Don't feel bad Chevy, you didn't ruin my night.  I did that on my own just fine ;)

Overall, I need to practice more, and that's no one's fault but my own. (and everyone who asks me to do shit, pronounced "douche it")

Hey guys sorry for the delays in getting points up. I went to TN over the weekend for some scouting and to speak to a few folks about jobs. Event though I have been back my spare time has been filled with much family discussion and emails and phone calls with those folks in TN. Right now it is looking like I will be southward bound late this spring. Will have some time tomorrow to update points and post a lap count for this week's race as well.

Found out last night had to be up at 6 this morn. Had not been expecting that or my daughters car to break down mid day. Do not have points compiled but do know that this week's race will be 17 laps in eother direction.

We had a great turnout for the first Friday of the new season. And it is looking like Some of the same old faces came back out with some new ones mixed in. Bada and Brindle were fast in karts so it is no surprise they were fast in the Rockets as well. While speaking of performances noticed Mondo seems to have picked up his pace in the off season and is off to a better start. As did dlrws6.

I looked up once during the first race and could have sworn I saw five wide behind me. HOLY CARP that puts pressure on. Nice race everyone. Looking forward to Ape Hill this week.

Results from Silverstone National Circuit
