This week's race will go like this

5 min Q, followed by 8 lap race then we will reverse the field according to prior race results and run a second 8 lap race. The second heat will have the bonus available for the back half of the starting field.

6 min Q followed by a 16 lap race.

Speaking purely from my point of view I dug the format. Got in got it done three points paying races and  done in an hour and a half. Thanks for the cooperation from all of you.

Good racing last night all.

I enjoyed the format as well and hope to see it used in future seasons.

Last night I think it was Feldynn who said "I always forget how much I like this track".  I couldn't agree more.  As far as fantasy tracks go, it's near the top of my list.  It doesn't get used enough around here IMO, but I understand a lot of guys don't like it because it's too dark.

I have a lot of catching up to do in regards to posting replays (sorry guys), but I can't wait to get to this one.  I skipped through it a bit last night and it looks amazing!

Lastly, I'd like to thank Pete for a really, really great race in the main event!  I checked out the live timing last night, and besides the final lap, we only crossed the start/finish line more than .7 seconds apart once, and that once was a .9  On average, it was around .4  to .5!  Great fun!

.. regarding the format, it flowed nicely and worked extremely well I thought .

Yup that was me that said that Wizard, the flow or something of both SSR5 layouts feels really good to me but like you say I think it being a night track can put people off.  Maybe one day we'll get time change or at least day and night versions of all the tracks, I think it would be interesting to see that one during the day too!

Thanks to Baked and everyone on track too, I had a blast last night!  Goos times indeed .

I have reviewed the races and am prepared to make the results official, but in bouncing around trying to watch everything I am not certain that I did not miss something. So I will give it a few days if any of you have a protest you would like to lodge PM me here. I will then review the situation and make a ruling. If I am involved in the incident we can have one of our piers from the race that is not involved in said incident review and make a ruling. If there are no protests lodged with me by Wednesday 3/19 then points are official for this week.

Sorry about missing the race tonight, it was the wife's birthday, so the family went out for dinner and we were there longer than I expected.
