Round 2 - 370Z at Apricot Hill on Comfort Softs.

I'm going to fire up a leaderboard here for this round later tonight.

I think this will be a tricky one.  I expected sport hards on this car.

This one sounds like a lot of fun.  Fun enough to spend a few hours just turning out laps.

Heck, look at it this way.  It's a +2 tire upgrade from what we just had with the leaf 

Anyway, it's supposed to be hard so that two similar d rivers are given a chance to put a gap between them.  One guy/gal will rise to the occasion, and the other won't.  Natural selection at its finest

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's Interlagos?

My thought process: The opening movie and new Senna Content in May...I have nothing else to base this on.

Bathurst should be fun in the GT-R for the next two weeks!

Oohh, I think I know, but won't ruin it. If it's what I think it'll be fun!

Round 3 is not as bad as I thought it would be. Early on, gold looked like it was going to be tough to get. Ran a 2:20.7 to start, and wasn't expecting to get much better. Then dropped down to a 20.1, turned a few more laps, and had another good one going. Then I just barely brushed the wall, and went red. It wasn't enough contact to make or break the lap, so I kept going to see what the time would be, a 19.1. Now I'm thinking I got a shot at this thing. Ran a few more laps, then something clicked, and I laid down a lap, that I honestly probably won't be able to repeat. A 2:18.278, I ran off into the sand after seeing that, and hit exit. I'm done. 

Now I got to try and do it again on my other ID, that's where the foul language will start, I'm sure. 

Also, I realize that 2:18 will be a relatively slow lap in comparison to a lot of you guys, but it feels like a really good lap for me. We'll see when I try to repeat it.

As far as getting gold, you're right.  It is not incredibly hard to get.  the foul language was flying like crazy in my basement last night, the worst I've probably shouted in a long time.

"I FUCKING hate this FUCKING track.!"  (had to keep reminding myself that  Ican't afford another wheel right now)

So, if you do stay in the 18's on this one, I'll be right there keeping you company.  This one is a 'gold and go' for me.

The car sucks too.  So extremely easy to go unstable at the slightest touch of grass... and those walls !  AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll see you guys on Round 4.  And I'll probably go back to Round 2 and keep grinding away at that.

It's actually a pretty fun combo in my opinion...much more fun than last week at least.
