For those that want to watch the season opener Fox Sports is carrying the entire WEC season.  Round 1 will air Sunday April 12th starting at 7:00am Eastern.  It will be a six hour race at Silverstone.

Good reminder. I had forgot all about it.  :)

I recorded it as I did not feel like getting up at 4am. So I started watching at 6am and was able to fast forward through all the commercials. This race FoxSports used the RadioLemans announcers and their awesome. There is supposed to be a one hour highlight show, though I'm not sure when.

it was an awesome race.  I woke up and started watching with about 4 hours and 30 minutes to go, so I got to see pretty much all of the Porsche/Audi fight.   Good stuff.

Those were some incredible on track battles.

It's like trying to weave through traffic on the highway!  Some of those moves were awesome to watch.  Thanks Dude!

That was intense. That outside pass through Maggots/Becketts was bad ass.

That was a good race. I didn't make it up at 4am for the start though. It was awesome being able to chromecast this to my surround system and TV. And no commercials.

Poor Audi got DQ'd after the race for having a worn skidblock.

For me, as a GT fan, watching that race on TV sucked the fat one.  90% of the time the camera was focused on a prototype.  :adam:
