Some reviewers and customers have said they actually like the tech and feel in the T300RS more than the more expensive "big brother" T500.  However, as you noted the 500 at least is a completely viable full set.

I will just reiterate that if the T300 really is as good as the 500, and its pedals suck, then the cost is the same after you add some Fanatec pedals or upgrading to the T3PA's that come standard with the 500.  You cannot upgrade during your order and mix-n-match with the T300 Wheel + T3PA's (major annoyance, but if available right now I wouldn't have my CSR-Elites)

The above info about adapters should be preceded by this caveat.  The one by basherboards has a long waiting list of at least 2-3 months, though his production may pick up at some point.  In fairness, he did just respond to an email asking for an update and mine will be produced within a week or so...

I might be back before GT Academy is totally over...

I didn't know where else to put this, and it seems like as good a place as any.

Possible new Logitech wheel that'll be ps4 compatible. I'm thinking this might open the door for the older models, but who knows.

My feeling on this is vaporware.

I am leaning towards believing it is real. With P Cars on 3 platforms, A Corsa then the stalwarts of Forza, iRacing and of course G Turismo there is a much larger market than when they (Logitech) claimed to be stepping away from it. I know that the pie is being sliced up with more competitors in that market with multiple models available from Fanatec, Thrustmaster as well as single model offerings from Mad Catz and some odds and ends high end stuff. There is still a nice segment of the market available to a manufacturer who will make a mid level offering. While the prices I have read are a touch higher than mid level those are rumors at this point and I can see where Logitech might be just be smart enough to slot right in that mid level spot. Of course that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

Unless Oldboy owns one and can verify FFB function and no input lag I would be skeptical.

This is what Oldboy posted in the Old Geezers thread at the Planet.

The adapter is from RICMOTECH SIMULATION RACING EQUIPMENT in Miami Fl. and is called: MaxRace F-1 V-5 for PS4
It allows any Logitech wheels to be played on the PS4. It sells for $119.95 + shipping.
With Project Cars, I had the controller set for automatic gear shift and the paddle on the wheel was controlling the camera views. This way, it was working fine but I wanted to shift manually. So to use the paddles to shift, in manual mode, we had to reassign button to get R1 button as gear shift up ( Used triangle button) and L1 button as gear shift down ( used the square button) In the game Project Cars, we can assign buttons on the controller as we want using the OPTION button and fallowing the instructions.
I hope this explanation is clear enough, if not let me know

More power to you.

I thought he was just looking at buying. I see he has a unit and it is working for him. Very good.
