Circuit Experience is the quickest way to get money and XP.

The entire Campaign Mode is worth 6.8m credits and 22,566XP (plus another 12,550XP for all the Achievements you'll hit in the process). Of that, 4.1m and 13,623XP comes from Circuit Experience.

But they're one-time prizes...

Famine made this post at GTP, thought it was useful.

Had a bunch of fun in Sport Dailies @ Dragon Trail last night ... some minor contact going on every race, but I could once again see the effort people were putting in to drive clean. I had one race where I was a 'red' rating, but I had a few 'neutrals' and several 'blues'.  Probably ran 7-8 races all told and averaged out an overall improvement.  No wins, no poles or fast laps, but was also trying out different cars in my garage.  I think I liked the NSX the best.  Achievement for "Clean Races" I noticed improved too.

Good stuff with not one network error (some have been complaining on forums) ... pretty enjoyable for being out in the wild.

Has anybody signed up for the Nations, Manufacturer, or GT cup races?

I'm hesitant to do so, as I don't know if I'll be able to run the all. Maybe I'm over thinking it?

I need to run some Sport Mode races, and get my stats out of the basement. I have yet to run a race in there.

Personally, I much prefer the shorter races in daily's, but I really haven't looked deeply into the others. I've just been experimenting with the game and enjoying it with no professional pressure heaped on.

I really like the option to check the room settings in open lobbies before joining .... specifically TC.  Just like PCars, the cars are uncontrollable for me on DS4 without it.  Just a minor setting of "1" suffices 90% of the time ...... but, I did come across one car (can't remember it) in Missions/Circuit that I jacked it up to "3" before I could tame it driveable.  Again, just like PCars ..... even if TC is turned on in Sport, it can be individually turned off if you don't like it.

I'm reading that update 1.03 has fixed the DS4 steering issue.

Now I might finally get to do some drifting.  :D

There was also another separate notice that says they fixed the "Show Rooms With Friends". Maybe private rooms are an option now ...

dmcallis posted this trick over at TPRA

I doubt anyone drives 24/7. Hope not, anyway. So, why not buy those VGT cars with cash you don't have to drive for, well, more than one lap worth anyway? Just let the race run while you are away from the PS4, or asleep?

How? Arcade Mode / Custom Race. In the test, I used Northern Isle Speedway.

Go to Arcade Mode, then down to Custom Race. Then select the track and time. Now, (important!) pick a N100 car, either the Miata or one from your garage. Pick color and transmission, neither really matter...

Now, we wanna maximize the payout. Note thy readout on the left for credits and experience.
Pick Endurance as Race type. Then how long your PS4 won't be used. My test was for 6 hours.
Set Number of cars to 2, we want second place guaranteed.
No Boost bumps the payout, so select that.
Most of the other things have no effect on payout, until we come to the reason we picked N100 before, Opponent Category. Pick Gr.1.
Set Opponent Difficulty to Professional, and at a 6 hour race, you are looking at Cr.1.47 million and 11k experience, while you are doing something else. edit: NO idea why it shorted me 10k, but I can live with it...
Park down low, set the parking brake, and come back when the timer runs out.
It doesn't seem to pay the Safe Race bonus, for some reason. A LITTLE disappointment with that. LOL

You DO have to drive the last lap, you have to do one to cross thew finish line after the timer expires... But pretty good cash and experience for one lap...

Hope this helps you with getting those VGT cars. There are a bunch of them...

If you are round and about when you run the endurance races, the biggest payout based on time, is to keep doing the 10 minute race.
That has the highest per minute payout.

10 minute race = 6150 / min + 50% clean race = 9225 x 60 = $553,500.
60 minute race = 4100 / min + 50% clean race = 6150 x 60 = $369,000.

2 and 4 hour races payout the same / minute as a 1 hour race.

I didn't get chance to check the longer races.

NOTE, do a couple of laps at the start of the race to make sure you get the Clean Race bonus.

Yay! Amazon finally got me my game. Now to install for "5 hours" while my PS4 fights for bandwith against Stranger Things...

Also, anyone know why it's rated "E For Everyone" but with Tobacco and Alcohol use? I thought it was supposed to rate the gameplay... not the Tunas I race with

Thanks for tips, Pete.

Also need to turn off Rest Mode. I set mine to do a 3 hour race while I worked in the yard. Checked on it after 2, and it paused the race after an hour, and went into rest mode. ::)
