Yep it was awful enough when I saw it the first time. The cameraman has a broken collarbone and broken ribs. Last I read he will be okay in time.

If it's made by A.C.M.E. it must be a roadrunner catchall. LOL

Chilton really looks outclassed. 4rd out of 4 Marussia drivers and over 1.5s slower than the next slowest.

I too think he is slow and they could find someone quicker, but he was using the prototype hard tire for 2014 when he set that time. So it looks like all he was doing was some testing for Pirelli. In which case they could not alter the car at all.

Lotus have a good sense of humor.

Where's Rosco?  LOL

Where's Kimi. He wound up not participating in the testing.

New pit lane speed limit.

The FIA then decided to bring the regulation charge forward and the speed limit has been reduced to 80 km/h (49.7 mph) from the Hungarian Grand Prix onwards as opposed to the 100 km/h (62.1 mph) it was before the incident.

The Australian, Monaco and Singapore Grands Prix, though, will continue to have a stricter speed limit of 60 km/h (37.2 mph) because of the nature of the circuits.

Slower pit lane speeds and tires that do not degrade as quickly. It might be the top step for Romain or Kimi at Hungary this weekend.

From www.Pitpass.com

FIA relaxes pitlane rules
25/07/2013
Even before they had been implemented, the FIA has relaxed the rules due to come into force following the pitlane incident in Germany.

In the aftermath of the incident which saw FOM cameraman Paul Allen injured by a wheel that became detached from Mark Webber's car, the FIA effectively banned all media from the pitlane over the course of the weekend.

However, with Bernie Ecclestone no doubt having had a word - such a move would seriously compromise the TV coverage - the FIA today announced that the rules had been relaxed even before they'd been introduced.

While only FOM cameramen will be granted pitlane access during qualifying and the race, and will be restricted to working from the pit-wall, a limited number (25) of other cameramen and reporters will be allowed access during the free practice sessions.

The situation is muddled by the fact that whilst the FIA controls print and web media, it is FOM that handles broadcast media.
