I thought it was a pretty exciting race to watch, for all the reasons already mentioned.  Bring on Hungary!

So sad, I was really looking forward to a Mercedes team mate battle at the Hungaroring. Oh well, it might still be fun if Hamilton can move cleanly through field. With the track described as a over sized go kart track it will be extremely difficult day for him. I think the Mercedes still have a one and a half second advantage in race trim so a podium is not out of the question.

My prediction though is Rosberg, Bottas then Vettel. Maybe Ham can manage p4 if lucky.  8)

Well here's something that hasn't happened in a long time. An American driver will be in an F1 race.  Alexander Rossi will be pedaling a Marussia around Spa this weekend. :)

I personally think it is good news, I'm not sure they will actually be able to enforce it though. :)

Here's a link to some Q and A

I believe the FIA rule came down mid season because of Mercedes and the Monza race. There is minimal evidence, but apparently  some internal voices speak of NR throwing this race, or being told to. This is said to make up for the SPA indecent. This is not terrible in F1 as such, as team orders are okay. They can be informed by the team to move over for a team mate for position.
(I think this is bullshit, but I can maybe see sort of see it from a constructors point of view)

So here we go to Singapore, with no team radio help (sure) and the points chase on the line. Nico Rosberg in the lead by 22 points.

I believe the main reason the FIA called bullshit on this is how Merc are setup. They use a single strategist for both drivers. This I believe is why we have the no performance radio transmissions. That single strategist has the ability to choreograph the race for the two drives on the team. Not to mention next year we will probably see 3 cars per team.

See you next week at Singapore.  :)
