Sure, but I bet you could find something better to put it in.  ^-^

Want to own an F1 car? you can pick up a Caterham 2013 F1 test car and more.

I wonder if the Full size 6 DOF motion platform F1 simulator would work in PCars?

Holy crap I was just reading the site and it works with iRacing, rFactor and rFactor2. Wish I had a ton of money.

Looking like a wet weekend @ Suzuka, with typhoon Phanfone on its way.

Rain is forecast for Friday practice, dry qualifying and rain again for the race. Personally I would go with a wet setup and try not to be too concerned with qualifying position.

The rain failed to materialize in practice.

So where is he ending up in Fernando's soon to be vacated spot at Ferrari or will he join Fernando at Mclaren/Honda to give them a super team reminiscent of the Prost and Senna days?

Latest is that Finger Boy (urgh) is going to Ferrari.  My fear is that Alonso is heading to McLaren (double urgh).  Alonso earned my respect from the past years at Ferrari, which provided him with crap cars but he still managed to stand on the podiums many times.

Not sure what the hell Marchionne and Mattiacci are thinking...if it wasn't for Alonso, Ferrari is going to be at the lower half of the standing and not scarping points against Williams.  Mattiacci, enjoy your stay while it lasts.  It is going to be a short one.

Not sure who I really like anymore in F1. Kini is definitely near the top of the list but if things are not jelling for him, the car and the team he does not seem to have the same glimmer in his eye.  But outside of him the list is thin. Maybe Button he seems to enjoy his work and understand no matter what an individual race day may bring he is fortunate to be where he is, something I don't think we see often enough in pro athletes.

Got this article from an F1 forum:  http://autosprint.corrieredellosport.it/2014/10/03/ferrari-alonso-divorzio/19331/

Quote from the poster:
Quote
the article is bizarre, it's pure old days Ferrari, first they say that Nando didn't want to stay and they let him go then the article says that it now becomes clear why Domenical was shown the door, ie. he was too close to Alonso. Pity that Antonini didn't realise, when writing that article (I presume after a green light from Maranello because these guys take these matters quite seriously), that what they are basically saying is that they had had enough of Alonso long time ago, and what's amazing is the reasons quoted for having had enough of him "Alonso era diventato troppo protagonista, troppo leader in seno alla squadra" ("Alonso had become too focal within the team, too much of a leader"   ), basically Alonso had covered the many problems that the Ferraris of the last few seasons had and the guys at the top didn't like it, he should have been slower and not made so apparent that many times the results that he was getting were mostly down to him and not to the car    and some even wonders why they can't win (and why I've been so critical of Ferrari over the last few years).

Sic transit gloria mundi...

The moderator then responded with the following, which I agree with.  Ferrari, which is a team I have followed for many years, tends to like to shoot itself in the foot with poor management decisions:

Amazing stuff. Thanks for the translation. I am not sure I know what good management is, but I damn sure can recognize bad management, because I have seen so much of it.

I think Ferrari picked up some Red bull engineers awhile back too.

And Adrian Newey is stepping away from F1 for a bit maybe Seb thought much of the success had to do with Newey.

I think Newey is off to design an America's Cup boat, there is a small possibility Ross Brawn could pop back up at Ferrari.

Good news, there is an open seat at Toro Rosso, because JEV was gone anyway and Kvyat is on to Red Bull.  ^-^

Think you'd fit the seat well? or will that Verstappen kid get it?

Verstappen is already in for '15 in place of JEV.
