On the bright side, My brother has in use both a suit and helmet that are not in the lists provided by MyGranTurismo.net. Those would be the "Beginner" suit and helmet. Given how he got them they may not be a retainible suit and helmet, They come on newly created Bobs. We have not tried to change them as of yet cuz they are kind of cool (Plain white) but we'll test this theroy at some point, but I digress. Where was I, Oh yeah, suits that are not in the MyGT.net do exist, my bro has one.

My GT5 won't let me accept any gifts, so my box is full and I can't empty it.

Nothing I have tried, so far, has fixed it. I am over-dressed and nowhere to go.  

This worked before and it worked again.

My game was stuck with 85 gifts that I just could not get it to accept. Earlier, I saw someone gave me two more gifts, making a total of 87, and I was finally able to accept them all.

I then make an error and reverted back to an earlier game save, with the same 85 gift problem. Someone gave me a bunch of gifts and raised the total to 107. When I tried to accept all gifts, it left me stuck at 85 again. Someone sent me two gifts and it unstuck again and I was able to clear the gift box. I just hope I have eliminated the problem, for good.

So, if your gift box gets stuck, try having someone send a small number of gifts, to give the system a little push. It might work.

Um yeah, would you believe my gift box is stuck too. Please send me gifts so I can unstick it. A couple high dollar cars, some rare paints, and maybe some new fire suits. That ought to get things rolling again.

Weird...  

It always says I am full at 50 gifts, nowhere near the 85 you are seeing.  (you must be special...   )  

Once I get there, 50 gifts, it will not let me receive anymore until those are received.  Happens that way on all of my accounts (and with other accounts when I sent them copies of my uniform stock)...  If I am sending to one another account and they are at 50, I get an error saying the person cannot accept any more gifts.  




This is different from the error I reported where it said I couldn't receive anything more.  It recommended using some items, which I did...   Seems the limit is somehow tied to specific inventories.  The last time it wouldn't clear until I got rid of some uniform combos.  Time before that it was paint.  Time before that it was car coupons.  Have not figured out how it is "calculating" this.  But it appears to key in on multiples.  Deleteing uniforms back to 7 each made that problem go away.  I had at least a dozen of each of the ones I've collected.   Paints really pissed me off because most of the time the GAME itself causes the duplication.  I had 23 separate "Blacks" in my Honda paints  (maybe they change by years?).  I also used paints down to no more than a dozen per color I like.  (I had 50+ gold chrome, 40 silver chrome and 30 orange chrome - not to mention an excess of most color shift and matte paints.)

Yes...  Although they gave us each a "starter pack" when they first enabled them.

The suits that are given to "new" Drivers are "beginners suits".  These can only be replaced by replacing your B-Spec driver with a new B-Spec driver with 0 experience.  They are not collectable and if exchanged with a suit from your inventory, will not re-appear or show up in your inventory as a replacement. They will only re-appear when you create a new B-Spec driver. The Uniforms are plain, white, with the black GT logo on the suits and helmets.

Because all my original b-spec drivers wore double stripe/horizon when I first got them but now I can change their suits...

Yeah, we all started with B-Spec boys that had the horizon helmets and double stripe suits. The first time you re-create a new B-Spec driver, you will receive a "Beginners suit".   Your horizon helmet and double stripe Suit will appear in your inventory, and if you want to re-use them you can. You just can't reuse the beginners suits or save them to your inventory.

I have gotten all of the children of mexicain immigrants at my disposal back to work on cranking out some new unis.
