the filesize does seem a bit large for what they mentioned.  ther must be some sort of "media" included.  Track.  Car.  More music (would have been mentioned so probably not) or new sound effects (same here).

replacing some code or even adding a new feature that does not require its own new media elements would make it a much smaller update than it was.

My money is on a new track.  Motegi seems logical given the clues people have noticed...

And you're probably right.  There is the little issue of the cars that will be available in your trailer....that has to have some file size content.

My guess is that they have put the prize cars into the gamedata to coincide with the gold medal accomplishments you have earned so that they will be available at the end of the GT-A Competition.  :-\ That there may be a track (or tracks) like Twin Ring Motegi is entirely possible, however, they had Silverstone track competition last year and we did not get that track from the results.  :-\ It would be nice to Get Motegi and its variants (that would be 4 tracks in one).  8)

But, one can never speculate with PD...who the :fuck knows what that whacky Kaz will come up with next.  :-\

Hi Allstar!!!!   ^-^

I may or may not have been extremely disgruntled in the quality of PSN, Sony, GT5 and the security lapse...  Just ended up I got frustrated with all the crap Sony was handing out and needed a break for a bit.  Haven't made it to level 40... twice (  >:( ), and probably won't, but was thinking it would be nice not to play the game, but get back with the group from time to time (if y'all'll still have me) for a bit of fun.  Seems the real fun and longevity is not in the grinding of the game, but the company of Tunah's.

And just to keep this on track, how much are those tracks?

I purchased the first one or was it the second? It comes with suits helmets cars and Spa. It was 8 or 9 dollars if I remember correctly.

Also, glad your going to get back out there and race online.  8)

Update 2.07 is live and available to download now, no sign of any patch notes yet and I forgot to check how big the download was before I came over here to post :).

2.07 update is only 2 MB.

It is said to fix the glitch that does not allow pit stops for Special Stage Route X.

Man, who races there that much that they need pit stops?

I ran the track today in My Lounge.  Or rather.... I ran about half of the track before I got bored and quit.  Maybe I'm the stupid one, but why do we need such a long track in addition to that other really super long track at Tokyo?  Are there that many stunning photo opportunities here?  Do we really need a 10,000 meter straight to test acceleration, top speed and braking?

But Sony/PD needed our money so they could fund the cost of the new livery on all the Skylines and GTRs for GT Academy.   ;D

Blue paint and decals don't grow on trees ya know...  Unless of course you happen to have a Blue Paint Oak or a Decal Oak living nearby...
