There have been quite a few graphic element changes to tracks, so new signs, buildings, somebody mentioned new or different types of trees, etc.

I saw an old/new comparison of a Honda Civic that had bright headlights instead of dull ones, too.

Ah, thank you.

Any mention of maintenance for today? I can't log in. Keep getting a message that tells me my connection has timed out. I checked my network settings and everything appears to be correct. I can establish an Internet connection, just not to PSN. I haven't tried re-booting the machine. I'll do that now.

Sony has a network problem today. It's a topic of discussion at the Deathstar, where the forums are loading Very slowly.

Apparently, this is a message from Sony in Asia....

Due to this maintenance, PlayStation®Home Log-in difficulty and the network error may occur, and purchasing the items at PlayStation®Home Shopping Mall or PlayStation® Store cannot be completed during this period.

<PSN Maintenance Period>

We apologize for such an inconvenience and thank you very much for your understanding.
*This maintenance start and end schedule may be shifted without the new announcement.

WOW, The Deathstar Forum down for maintenance - I won't hold my breath,

I haven't visited that site for nearly 6 months - they're STILL up and running?  (Amazing)  :laugh

This may not be the proper thread for this, but here goes anyway.
I noticed I have two Buick Specials on my Chrome ID, and was about to sell one of them when I seen something odd.

Both cars have 0 miles, and are completely stock, but they are not the same...

Buick #1 had 560hp
Buick #2 had 577hp

17hp difference between the two.

So I figured for whatever reason, I may have changed the oil in the higher HP car. So I jumped in it, and went to GT Auto to see. It had not had an oil change, and took one. So I grabbed the other Buick (#1), and changed the oil in it as well.

Here's how they sit after an oil change, still 0 miles on both.

Buick #1 has 587hp
Buick #2 has 606hp

19hp difference between the two cars, for no apparent reason.

Now, the only thing that I can think of that might make these cars different is, one is a prize car, and one was obtained from a ticket. Unfortunately, I don't know which one came from where.

I noticed the same thing, Chrome.  You may have hit on the difference being that one is a gift car from the game and one is ticket redemption.  I have seen this several times.  There would be one clue to check: The cars all have a delivery date when you look at the stats from the garage screen.....check the dates.  If the first one was a gift, then it may have more horsepower than the 0 mileage car you obtained from the coupon.  Although, I don't see where the justification would be for having different values for the same car with 0 mileage. :-\  Only PD's Infinite *cough* wisdom would be able to explain that one.   :laugh :lmao

A few days ago, I went through my garage and deleted most duplicates, but I don't think I deleted this one.

I have no idea why there would be a difference, either.  :-\

I wonder if one would break in differently so they end up with the same power.

I just keep adding duplicates for cars.  It's nice to have an extra copy especially when doing irreversible upgrades to one.

I just hope I wasn't hasty and deleted something that I shouldn't have.

Rebuilding 0 miles?  I don't think it even lets you.

Mouse just pointed out the possibility that one could have been recieved before and the other after an update that may have made a correction to the cars power level.
