I must say that I have near zero interest in this car pack I read about, just like the last one with the GT-R and VW's.

Nissan LEAF G 2011
Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2010
Volkswagen Volkswagen 1200 1966
Jaguar XJR-9 LM Racecar 1988
Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 2011
Mini Mini Cooper S Countryman (R60) 2011

Why because when i look at the car list only the leaf and the bug are turn offs. Love the Beetle in real life but for a driving enthusiast game i just don't get it. The Lambo on the other hand is their new flagship all good there. The Jag is a good thing more real race cars is always a good thing. The Aston is not my first choice but high end sports cars are what we want and this is that. The Mini is kind of goofy choice but i am just indifferent to it's inclusion.

I can't wait to get my hands on that Lambo and that new track looks like a good place to take it. That track looks pretty effin cool.

A thought just occured to me, isn't this new Jaguar LM car that will cost money just a premium version of the existing standard car?

If the whole thing comes as a combo pack again like the first one with the Touring Cars and SPA then I'll probably buy it "just because", while I am mildly interested in some of the lower end cars there's nothing there that really jumps out and makes me all tingly inside.

Now if the car list looked something more like this...

Nissan / Datsun 160z 1976
Aston Martin V8 Vantage 1977
Volkswagen Thing 1973
Jaguar XJS V12 1990
Lamborghini Espada 1968 / 1970
Mini Cooper Rally Car 2011 (or 1960s version)

.. then I'd probably be a good bit more excited, and that's just a slightly random list of cars I pulled off Google ;D.

I will not pass on any tracks that can be added, but I will probably skip the cars for now.

If anything i would be tempted to skip the track but will still get it. But a massive oval with giant banking does not sound like the racing will be all that great. Just a top speed test course is not terribly exciting as a driver either.

With the right cars on a huge oval, you could have some good racing, just like any other type of layout.

I seem to remember players struggling with some Test Track races in earlier versions.

If you look at the screenshot of the menu screen for the x-factor or whatever it's called, there is also 0-400m and 0-1000m option. Drag racing, anyone!? PLEASE LET IT BE 2 PLAYER!

Is it just me or has the pricing of dlc been inconsistent?

Today it is 1 dollar per car and 4 dollars per track. I did not pay attention to what they were before, but I feel like they were cheaper.

From the link...
Route X is a massive oval with giant banking corners, allowing you to test your vehicles’ maximum speed and performance, plus some beautiful vistas to rush by at 200mph. You’ll be able to use this track online, and in Arcade and Practice modes.

Two things.  First, I like the test track thingy, and if you can drag race, it'll be way fun.  Second, regarding the crappy new cars that some of you don't want to get...can you imagine how good I'm going to look in the Aston?

Car Pack 2 was a dollar per car(4 cars, $3.99) + a couple freebies

First DLC
$.53 per car(15 cars, $7.99)
$2.50 per track(2 tracks, $4.99)
Take in account the bundle price($11.99) with 100 paint chips, and however many suits. The first one was a helluva deal in comparison.
