I'm stupid... that time trial was still up for another week.  I did get time to improve again and beat TC's and your new time, which was really impressive BTW :D

Never like running in the Formula GT (simply because I am no good with really fast and high downforce cars), so I am not even sure that it is worth buying the FGT and run it once for credits that does not even cover the cost of the beast.  :(

I went out and bought the FGT last night. Really enjoyed the TT. I think I really like the crazy cars for TT.

I may never use it in a race. I don't think I like them for racing online, though I might if it had 500 HP.

Settings
LSD: 30-5-30
rear spring rate: 14.39
Downforce maxed
Brakes 7F-2R

I agree this car is fun for TT's.

If you want a formula car to race online, the F3 senna car is a good one.  A detuned and heavier FGT has mixed results, based on drivers in the race.

I think with the faster, crazier cars, it is less possible to "fake" the race driver's reaction times and have the masses drive them reasonably well.  More and more, you need to actually have some of that race driver reaction.

True, and it's close to impossible to do that without physically getting feedback from the car.  I really need that feel - how the chassis is moving around and what the slip angle difference is between the front and rear of the car.

Dude, I was able to get back and spend some more time on the FGT TT thingy last night.  I was really wanting to beat TCmix and F1Cheetor, who were both a few seconds ahead of me.  I finished around .9 faster than F1 and 1.5 faster than TC :D :D :D

Using MC's tune with small modifications on my part (who knows how much I helped it ??? ) I spent a few hours getting down to a 1:31.9xx and still had spots where I know I can be faster.  I tried to remember everything from the ACademy stuff there a year ago, and found tons of time.

I know I could get into top 250 if I kept at it, but probably won't get the time.

Thanks for your encouragement and also, good time by you too!!

I saw that excellent time Ex, so I went back last night, but could not improve my time any.

I wasn't even going to try the FGT TT, as I didn't own one. But I got to wanting that Gold Chrome chip, and figured what the hell. Took me about 8-10 laps to get gold, then got the hell out of there right quick.
